Gus Gomez and Calgrove Rentals Saved the Day!…read more I rarely write reviews like this, but Gus Gomez at Calgrove Rentals absolutely earned every one of these five stars today. We were working on a major project in Beverly Hills and suddenly found ourselves in desperate need of a mid-sized mini excavator. I had already called 8 or 9 different equipment rental companies around Los Angeles with no luck. We had a 200-ton crane standing by, a full ground crew on site, and approximately $5,000 worth of Beverly Hills road closure and traffic control in place for the day. If we couldn't get that excavator, the entire job was in jeopardy and we were looking at potentially losing more than $25,000 between equipment, crews, permits, traffic control and lost production. Then I called Gus Gomez at Calgrove Rentals. Gus immediately understood how serious the situation was. On an extremely busy Monday, he dropped what he was doing, went to work for us, and somehow managed to get the machine we needed delivered to our Beverly Hills job site in LESS THAN TWO HOURS! That kind of customer service is almost impossible to find anymore. Gus didn't just rent us a piece of equipment--he saved our entire job and saved a lot of hardworking people from losing a day's pay. Premium's maintenance team was able to diagnose the problem in a few hours and get my tractor working again at a very reasonable price. Their team is professional, competent and Customer service focused. While my tractor was being repaired, I visited Premier's maintenance facility. I saw all makes of tractors, fork lifts and other heavy equipment being worked on. They also have full up fabrication shop. These guys are serious.
