I had been driving around for years with a bumper I thought might fall off at any moment. When I finally invested in replacing it, someone recommended Gene's Body Shop. So do I! From start to finish, Darrell and Brian were extremely kind, helpful, and honest. They kept me posted and delivered when they said they would. They let me keep my car while they acquired the necessary parts, which made life much easier for me. Not only did they repair my crappy bumper--perfectly, they wound up replacing a pain-in-the-neck sun visor and an outside mirror and repairing my glove compartment. Oh, they also buffed out the side of my car where I slid by a big light pole. I really can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Just had repair work done on my husband's truck. The back of his truck was damaged in a hit and run...they gave us the most reasonable estimate of all the repair shops we visited. They also explained much more while going over the estimate, so i had an idea of what they were going to be doing and a justification of each cost. A good body shop with an excellent painter. They really do fine work. Easy going, and willing to work with you if your on a budget. My truck was smashed up pretty good, and I was amazed they managed to smooth out the door so we only had to buy a new fender. Small shop, but that was a plus as I got direct info and talked with the men who did the work. So if there is anything you want done, the guy doing it knows. I'd use them again. read more

I went to Gene's after a Service King in Lewisville told me they wouldn't fix my car and left white writing ALL over my vehicle in chalk marker. I had gone to several other shops in Denton that wouldn't even touch my car and I was getting frustrated. I saw Gene's and decided to give it a try. Everyone was very nice to me and I spoke mostly with Brian who explained everything to me. I told him I did not want an immaculate fix; just wanted my car to have the dents popped out and my trunk realigned. Brian made sure I understood everything and saved me a LOT of money! Other shops said my rear quarter panel needed to be replaced and that the frame was shot. Gene's took one look at it and said they could save my panel and that the frame was fine. Other shops all quoted me over $3000 and Gene's Body Shop got me out of there for under $600. Much needed since I'm a college student! I dropped the car off and not even 24 hours later I got the call that I could come pick it up! They even cleaned my car of the writing from the previous shop! This has been the best experience I have had by far. They respected my wishes, didn't charge an arm and a leg to fix it, had be back on the road the next day, and best way above what they had to do.
