Not overly pleased with conclusion of our experience on our B2300 truck. Brought in with three…read moresues: A/C not cold, intermittent cooling (off and on sporadically, leak in power steering system. When I picked up vehicle I asked if was ready and was assured that it was. Drove 5 miles and A/C stopped blowing 3 times. I called and advised to return vehicle. When I brought it back in I was advised that there as a loose wiring harness going from the speed selection switch as well as the ac switch to the fan. Cost $440. I refused repair. When truck was picked up there appeared to be confusion as to exactly what was wrong. Was originally told teh fan looked great, not problems however picking in up it seemed the fan needed replaced. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that this issue was not addressed when the truck was brought in originally brought in and poor communication. We have 8 vehicles in our family and I was hoping to find a company dedicated to doing the right thing. I am not angry just disappointed.

My battery was left loose and moving as I drove home and a huge stain of some sort of fluid on the engine fan shroud cover. All this after they kept my Jeep for a full week and I paid almost $1,200 for it. Less than 90 days later I saw the first leak ever, so I went back to find out what was wrong and it was the thermostat. They wanted almost $300 or more to replace it, when it would've only been an extra $50 - $100 if one of the 3 ASE Certified Mechanics had thought about it, or was it a way to be sure I would bring it back and pay more money? I do not recommend taking any chances with this repair shop. They used to be all about the Customers but now it is all about the billing.

David did call, and, after hearing my problem, he said he would drive to my home on Friday to see what he could find wrong with my Camaro SS. Sandi & Joe showed up well before noon. Joe plugged in his high-tech malfunction analyzer. The indication was a continuous misfire on the #7 cylinder. I replaced the coil, the plug, and I checked the wire for resistance. There seems to be a deeper issue so, I called Sandi again and she told me to call on Monday morning to see when I can have the car towed up to the shop. When they left my house on Friday, I asked how much I owed them for driving down and checking the car. Sandi said, "No charge". WOW! I'm hoping to get the car up to them today or tomorrow. Shop personnel are very courteous and carefully explain what needs to be done and the costs involved. I used YouTube to review what the repair involved, and realized it was beyond my ability to desire to do the repair. The same car had the same repair before, and the bill was $164; at first I thought the $661 was pretty expensive; then I noted that the $164 repair cost was in 2018, so the higher cost could be a reflection of the increased cost of EVERYTHING since then. Would I take my car back for repair? Yes.

As a single older woman with no family nearby and limited income, my truck's reliability is extremely important to me. The belts are my main concern -- without them working properly, my fear was the truck will soon become useless. I wanted assurance that after spending that much money, my truck would be reliable. When I politely raised this, the responses were snarky, sarcastic, (I think came from the owner himself) and rude. They said "look under the hood yourself" and "go to Kelly Hill". All customers, especially older women on fixed incomes, deserve basic respect and clear communication. Very disappointed. Rudeness and dismissive treatment from DeBroux hurt me deeply -- emotionally, physically, and spiritually. As an older single woman with limited support, being made to feel disrespected and like I had no right to ask for basic fairness or reliable service left me humiliated and drained, affecting my well-being and ability to show up fully for my patients and family. Since writing the above, I found a nice auto repair shop, with a very respectful owner, who told me "I didn't need to do any work now on it now". However, the other shop stated, when I"m ready (when the truck is giving me more problems), he would do the same work for 1/2 as much, saving me 1000 dollars. That is a 50% savings or a 100% savings since I need to do NOTHING now. This place is not as great as they think it is.
