They have movies, computers to use, books, even book club kits! I just love this place!

The children's section on the bottom floor is great! They have a play area, eight computers, a plenty of places to relax and read. The selection is great as well! As a teacher, I'm always on the hunt for new children's books and have been pleasantly surprised each time I visit. I've always found something that was on my list! I love when a library stays current! Keep up the awesome work!!!

WiFi is free and easy to use. The library staff are available, friendly and will help you get started. You will sign in, if needed, with them. They can explain how it works and if there is a time limit. Weekday hours: open at 10am and close at 8pm. I was here to work... but I found a large selection of interesting magazines and large print books (so easy on the eyes- try one! ) Yoga one day a week and kids story time; there are also other programs throughout the month. They have great events for kids and adult programs, too. I went to a cooking demo here last year and it was packed. I learned so much. I think the staff is great. They treat my kids so well and did not get upset my autistic child threw a tantrum. I got some great new movies to watch for the week last night and they allow you to rent a ton without putting them on a hold.

Even if you aren't local, it's a cozy and modern place with comfortable seating, several private rooms and an uplifting environment. I love studying here and like to switch up the room or seating area I choose to study at just for a change of pace. They have private rooms and comfortable seating both on the main floor and upstairs level as well as handicap accessible bathrooms and water dispensers on both the floors too. They also have a few outdoor seating spots for outdoor studying too. The few times I interacted with the staff have always been positive experiences, as they are friendly and quick to greet. I really appreciate how this library has a children's learning center too, that you can see on your right hand side as soon as you pass the main entrance. Side note, I have had no issues with the WiFi not working either--important! So if you're looking for a cozy place to study, or have a meeting, or just relax that has plenty of sunlight and open window access, then definitely visit the Flint Public Library!

I came back for a couple of days and stayed at a friend's house. They invited me to go to the library and I agreed. When I went there, they looked the same from 5 years ago. Good 'ol Fenton, MI!…read more 'Be Closer' is the slogan here in Fenton, no one can give you an exact definition of the term but everyone here in town knows exactly what it means. It's a beautiful town filled with lovely lakes, friendly people and Michigan charm. From old Downtown to the Lower West Side you'll find hard working folks with a little bit of class. There's nice food being served and lovely little shops being browsed. Concert series in Summer, Apple Fest in Fall, Jinglefest in Winter, here in Fenton they've got it all. Sure it's got its downsides...the roads and drugged up youngn's, but for little towns in Michigan - Fenton is surely where it's at. -1 star because no one recycles.
