The children's section on the bottom floor is great! They have a play area, eight computers, a plenty of places to relax and read. The selection is great as well! As a teacher, I'm always on the hunt for new children's books and have been pleasantly surprised each time I visit. I've always found something that was on my list! I mentioned it to both of the staff members, and they just excused it away - "probably worked in a factory"......"hard of hearing".... without asking him to either lower his voice or continue his conversation outside. I did get a response from an email to a supervisor, however. Hopefully, that scenario won't happen again.

The building is attractive and easy to get into .  Once inside the library is laid out in a logical fashion and it is relatively easy to get around and find and use the materials available. The place is suitable for handicapped access.  The librarians are pleasant.  The place is kept neat and clean and the materials are orderly and easily traversed. There is plenty of parking outside.  The parking lot is well lit and kept clean and clear throughout all seasons.  This is definitely a place for research, learning and getting work done for children, teens and adults.  They have plenty of entertainment materials for all ages as well.

Many activities are for all ages, from book reading clubs, to art projects to children story time. 24 Hour Library…read more Kresge has been my dwelling place for late nights of cramming. The library has wonderful amenities that are available for students as well as guests. I love the interlibrary loan and the writing resources for students. The library website can be the best resource a hard-working student can have. Library OneSearch is a new search engine that features everything from the library catalog and other library databases. OneSearch also includes scholarly content publishers and view results ranked by relevance. The library is now open 24/5 for OU Students from Sunday through Thursday and closes at 2 on Fridays and Saturdays.

I order books and audiobooks through the MelCat system a few times a year, and the staff contacts me right away to let me know they're in. WiFi is free and easy to use. The library staff are available, friendly and will help you get started. You will sign in, if needed, with them. They can explain how it works and if there is a time limit. Weekday hours: open at 10am and close at 8pm. I was here to work... but I found a large selection of interesting magazines and large print books (so easy on the eyes- try one! ) Yoga one day a week and kids story time; there are also other programs throughout the month. Great experience here!
