One of the things that really sold me on this place is the knowledgeability and professionalism of the staff. I walked in to get a scope mount put on my Mosin that required drilling and tapping. The guy who does most of that work for ProGun was mature and professional enough to tell me that that particular mount he is not very good at mounting and has screwed a few up, but it didn't stop there, he actually recommended me to someone that is good at this sort of work on this sort of rifle. That to me speaks volumes about the type of business this is and the type of people the owners and staff are. Even though there are gun stores closer to me (liberty gun shop....yuck) this will be my go to gun stores for as long as it remains open. Highly recommended.

Suffice it to say I won't be coming back. The attitude of the staff really needs to change. They are blatantly ignorant, rude, condescending and unprofessional. I waited quietly in line behind a gentleman that was having some issues at the cash (no fault of his own) for probably at least 5 minutes. I didn't say anything and when it was my turn I walked up for the counter. At the same time someone walked into the store and approached the counter from behind me. The staff member (some bald guy) greeted the person behind me and said nothing to me. He started helping that person despite me having stood there patiently waiting for him to finish with the guy ahead of me. Seriously? Then he laughs at me when I remark that apparently it doesn't matter what order you walk in because it seems they just serve whoever they want. Overhearing what I was looking for when I started talking to another staff member, the first guy that completely ignored me pointed to one side of the store and said "they're over there." Unable to get the help I needed. Another staff member approached. Despite being hesitant at first to help me, he at least asked me what I needed and made the effort to find what I was looking for. The little I looked at the firearms pricing I think they are very competitive, but as a non-New Yorker for the past 38 years, I can't purchase there so I didn't dig in deep. We also picked up a little Camo outfit for our 18Month old grandson while there. Pricing for the work they did was very reasonable, and she made sure we were getting enough insurance in case the unthinkable happened. I cannot say how they improved a horrible moment for us.
