These doughnuts are mind blowing! I see why this is the chosen haunt of Geneseo's seniors.

Before this trip, I've only had their white cake with raspberry filling when we've dined at The Cellar just down the street. For an extremely reasonable price, when making a dinner reservation, you can order a cake which is made by Geneseo Bakery. Well I was in town taking my mom to the local hospital for a surgery so we decided to stop in on our way home. For $4 we got three donuts! Glazed, just average, but the blueberry cake-like donut and apple fritter were very good. Cash only so be prepared. We're coming next week for a follow up doctor appt so ordered a cake to take home. Staff was very friendly, when I was searching for cash for the donuts she said I could pay next week when I picked up the cake. ;) read more

I do not recommend going to this place at all to anyone, all of the donuts were raw in the middle and I called the man that was there really nasty attitude to me and my wife. Went to the place to return them he changed his story was talking to me loud I got my money back no one should have to deal with this kind of attitude. If you don't like people complaining about raw donuts find some other way to make them. read more

What does it matter that the donuts are good if they get your order wrong? I called in my order and picked it up using their drive up window. I then drove home (15 miles) only to discover that they had substituted part of my order. I immediately called the store but they offered the lame excuse that they were out of regular buttermilk bars and substituted them with blueberry buttermilk bars. Why wasn't I informed of that when I originally placed the order? Horrible, horrible customer relations. If you don't value and respect your customers better than that you might as well shutter the business. Even WalMart does it better. read more

The donuts are great, but the owner gives you grief if you call 15 minutes ahead to order 2 dozen donuts. This has happened multiple times where I was reprimanded for not calling the night before. Like I said, the donuts are great, but the owner doesn't need your business apparently. read more

Geneseo Donut is the BEST! When I come back to visit from Chicago I buy a dozen or so to take home and freeze. The owner and staff are super nice... this place truly represents the charm of small town shops.
