This is the best hotel in Paso Robles. Hands down. And I've stayed in basically all of them. Ignore the review below about pet penalty - their pet fee is clearly communicated all across the site and confirmation emails etc. they also clearly communicate that there will be a penalty for those who don't sign the waiver and declare a pet at check in. I travel with my dogs everywhere and can say their policies are very transparent and fair and the fee is reasonable compared to other hotels in the area. The beds are remarkably comfortable, the rooms are ridiculously well cleaned and maintained (I work in hospitality myself so I'm a tough critic!) and the breakfast that's included is next level. Each unit is thoughtfully decorated and all have stunning views of rolling hillsides and vineyards. It feels remote but it's truly a quick 15/20 minute drive to everything and there are also some fantastic wineries just down the street as well. It's a beautiful place to relax and spread out. Happy hour is magnificent, s'mores by the fire are superb. In fact I'm currently writing this from a cozy bed starring out at the bright green hillside after a crab cake Benedict breakfast with house made apple chicken sausage on the side. All I can hear is the breeze through the trees and the patter of rain against the skylights and the song of birds. An absolute dream. 10/10 and absolutely zero notes. Stay here if you can.

A Must-Stay in Paso Robles - Geneseo Inn Geneseo Inn in Paso Robles is truly a hidden gem and a must-stay for anyone visiting the area. The rooms are uniquely built from shipping containers, giving the place a modern, eco-friendly vibe, while the interiors are surprisingly cozy and upscale -- perfect for a romantic getaway. As a guest, you're treated to complimentary wine tasting, and breakfast is delivered straight to your room each morning -- and it's restaurant-quality delicious. You can even rent e-bikes and explore the beautiful vineyard surroundings at your own pace, which was one of our favorite parts. In the evening, you can unwind by the bonfire with a glass of wine, relax in a hammock, or play some of the lawn games they have on-site. It's peaceful, stylish, and welcoming -- a complete experience, not just a place to sleep. Highly recommended for couples, wine lovers, or anyone looking for a unique stay in Paso Robles!

This review is after a site visit I had last weekend. We unfortunately didn't have the pleasure of experiencing the sleeping accommodations but from the tour and incredible staff, I know it would have been incredible. The venue itself was a beautiful modern facility unlike the other venues in the area. They are also so intuitive to include a beautiful space to do a long table dinner within the vines. as an event planner, this was such a dream. Beautiful sleeping and combinations on site, shuttle, transportation included in an amazing Chef and Catering team to accommodate anything you need! I will be back to stay to create memorable experiences.

Our 5th visit together in celebrating our anniversary again! We just love everything about Geneseo Inn on Cass winery from the staff , food , rooms to the surrounding ! We can't wait to visit again in booking a differ theme room !

Stayed here for a wedding in February and it was the cutest place! I definitely want to come back and stay here again. The shipping containers converted to rooms is such a unique idea and when you're inside One, you would have no idea! The breakfast was delicious and they even have a dog menu so you can order your pup something special too. We brought our little golden retriever with us and all the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately I didn't get to do any wine tasting since I'm pregnant but I bought a few bottles from the winery to have soon. Can't recommend this place enough!

A cute little boutique hotel on a winery. Each rooms are made from containers and have their own theme. The rooms are really cozy and have their own balconies with views of the Cass winery. Breakfast is included each morning and is delivered to your room. Also they have a happy hour from 4 to 6. You can have a tasting of the Cass wines that is located on the vineyard. Also if you stay at the hotel, you get free tastings at the winery. All the staff are super friendly and very accommodating. There are various events on the premises as well. Just ask the front desk. The beds were on the softer side (for me). Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay. Definitely a different experience.

Who wouldn't love sleeping near a vineyard? The converted storage containers at this boutique bed 'n breakfast was a nice place to stay. Happy hour allowed us to try wine we may not have had at our lunch wine-tasting. We had delicious breakfast delivered to our room. Very leisurely time here!

Beautiful/romantic place to stay at. Everything was amazing from attention to detail in the room, to the beautiful views off the balcony, to the gourmet breakfast and the very sweet attentive staff. It was an unforgettable stay although I will say one negative thing and it's very small but noticeable. I felt nickeled and dimed after breaking a wine glass in the room by accident and then we were charged for it.

I had the pleasure of staying at the Geneseo Inn last night. It was perfection. From the warm welcoming hospitality to the beautifully appointed rooms, this place is a gem. So relaxing, spotless, and a view that will take your breath away. Do not miss this place when you are staying in Paso. I can't wait to go back.

The view from the Vineyard to the hotel. Walkable trails. Respected the surroundings and the environment.
    Giovanni P.

The rooms are beautiful and very well maintained. Pictures match descriptions and even better in real life. Great view and even better staff. They talk to you gently and respectfully. Answered our questioned politely even though we called multiple times for questions. Appreciate the patience! The amenities were enough to make this feel like a dream. Very pleasant. Would love to stay here again soon! Thank you for great experience.

    Birthday package

Had an amazing stay for a friend's birthday celebration. The shipping container rooms are fantastic and nicely appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was exemplary. Truly enjoyed the nightly wine and cheese tasting, and the morning breakfast, that gets delivered to your room, was plentiful and delicious. Cannot recommend this place highly enough and definitely cannot wait to come back.

Great place for a weekend of wine, food and relaxation staying in a room made of two shipping containers in a vineyard. We had wines in the Cass tasting room, gourmet food in our room and walks in the vineyard. The people there are very helpful in making sure you enjoy your stay.

Things to consider 1. Mattress was too soft (not enough support for elderly) 2. The shower/toilet combination should include a squeeze (we had to sit on the wet floor) 3. The property should have better signs around it on the roads, leading to it to direct guests to the main entrance and to the office. (We got lost, and there was no cell reception) Location and overall experience (including the great people running the place) were 5 stars, and we are coming back for sure. I recomand Avner Gat

Our deepest apologies to Lisa and Rob that this review is so overdue…read more I found Kindred Oak Farm by perusing the internet, it looked absolutely stunning. I called to make a reservation and spoke to the owner, Lisa. She was so warm, accommodating, and helpful-when I hung up the phone, I said I could be friends with that gal. When my husband and I arrived we were greeted by the friendliest, most beautiful, Great Pyranese brother and sister duo, Auggie & Gigi. Then, we met Lisa. She was so welcoming to us and so beautiful inside and out. She explained everything to us, showed us our spectacular room, Adelaide, that was full of upscale amenities. The entire room and bath area was amazing. The grand fireplace, the bathtub for two, the linens on the bed, the fabulous bottle of wine-I could go on. Even the coffee was from a local, organic coffee maker. Now let's get to the three-course breakfast we were served everyday of our four-day stay. We felt like we were at a three-star Michelin restaurant that included incredible homemade juices by Lisa. Each course was so presented so elegantly, but also in an atmosphere that made you feel right at home. Of course we went wine tasting. Lisa and Rob (Lisa's husband and co-owner) recommended wonderful wineries that we went to, and we were very pleased. Everywhere we went I had to tell them where we were staying and how beautiful and relaxing the B&B was. Back on our first morning there, Rob had taken us for a tour of the farm where we saw the game room, wedding area, the vineyard, and my favorite-the beautiful highlander cattle. Such an experience-no wonder Lisa and Rob are so happy there. Also, an honorable mention goes out to Little Girl, their precious kitty. We will definitely be back and have told all of our friends about this heaven on earth B&B. Thank you, Lisa and Rob, for making my birthday a wonderful memory!

At check-in, we were told that we would get complimentary tastings at the tasting room. When we went to the tasting room, we were told they were "too busy" for tastings and that we would need to buy glasses of wine instead. We didn't want to make a scene, so we ended up purchasing a bottle and a glass, which came out to $85 & we never received the tastings we were told were included with our stay. Overall, this has been a terrible experience. Between the uncomfortable room, broken AC, lack of guests/staff on the property, and being denied the complimentary tasting we were promised, I would not recommend staying here. Do not let the 4.6 rating fool you.
