Dined for Valentines Day. Beautiful property. We didn't spend the night, but wish we had. The dinner (while pricy) was solid. Several glasses of wine came with the meal. Wine was just ok...drinkable but didn't blow me away. Food was served three course. Since we each ordered differently, I got to try to lobster bisque with huge chicks of lobster, prawn risotto and a filet steak. Everything tasted great. A little overcooked, but I didn't mind. Dessert was decadent. Will return!!

Hands down this place blew me away especially the price point. The rooms are huge lots of space. The views are incredible. Breakfast was included and it was so delicious with a nice set up. This place def is top notch. Service was amazing through out my entire stay. Staff extremely polite and helpful. It's so quiet on the ground which is nice to get away from the city vibes. 10/10 recommend and will be coming back! Also complimentary wine tasting at their tasting room in town!

Great place to stay! Very quiet and still close enough to everything. The breakfasts were amazing each morning! Can't wait to come back!

Don't Paso this Paso Robles Winery and Eventery... Had the pleasure of experiencing CaliPaso just before the holidays last year on Halloween weekend for my friend's Ashley and Lindsey's nuptials... The ceremony was beautiful on the grass trim lawn... Like Picture perfect setting. The pathway along the side of the lawn has a few benches that are perfectly spaced and where a lot of the later guest (including my sister and I) enjoyed a amazing ceremony. The reception was of course where the celebration went up a notch with round chairs and tables, amazing decoration, lighting, live music and center pieces on fleek! The appetizers were out of this world and yes there were some vegan friendly fingerlings in the mix. I had so many I lost track, but mostly avocado-ish toasts, tapenades and deliciousness of that variety. CaliPaso is a large mission-esque wine establishment, but they also have some choice craft brew. The rooms where a lot of the bridal party and brides stayed were beyond anything you could imagine with a full kitchen and practically all the perks, space and amenities of a lofty apartment. All the staff/CaliPaso family were incredibly warm and full of personality. Not one thing went off without a beat. Good wine, great craft beer and lovely eats... Though if not for an amazing special event the beautiful are beautifully pricey... Absolutely worth it, but maybe not the everyday experience as Paso Robles is vast with much to enjoy. While I did enjoy my dinner meal as one of two people in the mix with major dietary restrictions, it was a little lackluster in terms of variety/option, but still quite enjoyable and I appreciate everyone involved. The landscape is breathtaking as is the main entrance. Very peaceful, scenic and inviting of any and all. Definitely will be back to enjoy the tasting room and a meal or two in the future and maybe a stay for a special occasion to break the bank a little... If you plan ahead you might make magic happen and with incredible people at CaliPaso in your corner to make that happen you more than just might. Cheer to the brides!

Having DJed at numerous weddings at CaliPaso in Paso Robles, I can say that this is my favorite wedding venue to work at! It's always gorgeous - all of my pictures & videos look amazing no matter what! The load in and out is easy, flat, no steps, always parking nearby. And they do not put limits on how loud the music can be (like other venues close by) But what truly sets CaliPaso apart is how friendly and professional the staff is! They are very helpful and easy to work with! Can't say enough great things about this venue as a vendor who works there often!

Took a solo trip to Paso and loved every minute of it. CaliPaso made me feel safe, especially as a female traveling alone. I was able to enjoy a quiet ambience and was comfortable in my own company. Loved that it was slow during the week and I was able to explore the vineyard without interference. My room was nice and clean with an amazing view of the vineyard! Woke up to a sunrise and a hot cup of coffee. Long awaited break from the bustling streets of L.A. Sincerely a stressed SpEd teacher in need of some self TLC!

Well decorated and lush. You feel like you went to some friends Tuscan farm house and he gave you a big room to stay in with a real soaking tub (6Ft 250). A little deck with a view of the valley and vineyards. Quiet and serene is what I would say about the ambiance. Service is very personal and sweet, you get the feeling they want to help you (isn't that different!) In the morning on Sundays it's a brunch buffet with omelettes and sandwiches and fruit and roast beef. Coffee and Juice the thing that stands out is it is a small restaurant with huge attention to detail. Nothing mushy or overdone everything presented well and tasted excellent (usual fare and some extra). I would recommend the little bit of everything omelette and the biscuit and gravy with rosemary (wow) the staff is polite at your table and again they want you to have a good experience. I had to order a pelligrino so I could tip them, because I had no cash. Worth the money and it was super reasonable, well beyond what I was expecting. Not a picture person sorry.

Anyone know how to connect with CaliPaso staff about holding a wedding at their venue? I've submitted multiple web inquiries, sent emails, and called but no reply.

Call and ask for Ruth's extension. Leave a number to call back please. Sorry, we have been super busy with weddings.

Detracting half a star to the overall review for: confusion on check-in & overnight dog barking. Upon arrival, We walked in with another couple, and there wasn't anyone to greet us for about 5 to 10 minutes. The other couple texted, called without connection. There were no instructions on checking in either. So we were just confused together for a while until our host appeared. In addition, a dog was barking intermittently the whole night, for both nights that we stayed. So that detracted a little but overall a good experience and would recommend.

No hiking trails nearby, stores, etc. It's was not an issue, but we were not prepared for driving on dirt/gravel for so long. There's a large fenced dirt-field on one side and a vineyard on the other side of the grounds and I believe the owner is at the top of the hill. The good: Cute outdoor space to sit around the gas fire pit. We had a nice evening sitting around it, with soft music playing from our camper. There are 3 campers on the property that share the common space. You get fresh eggs, butter, OJ and champagne in the fridge. Apparently you can see the farm animals if you coordinate with the owner, but we didn't have time. Since it's remote, you can be somewhat loud and dance around the common area. The bad: The dining table was warped, but we didn't use it at all. Cobwebs around wheels of camper and plants: wouldn't be a big deal but the small outside dining table is right next to them. Bed sheets were absolutely filthy. I don't know when the last time they were washed. The unit smelled. I felt like I was in an outhouse the entire time. We purchased 2 candles at a couple of wineries to try and hide the smell...it slightly worked. We wouldn't have stayed any night except we came with another couple who couldn't afford to stay someplace else at the last minute. Our friends also complained about the smell of their unit (they purchased candles too) and what looked like dirty towels just thrown back into the cabinets. I debated whether to give this place 1 or 2 stars. I decided to give 2 because I can see a lot of positive in the place. However, it needs some major cleaning.

The A/C in the campers works wonderfully, and the bed is firm, yet comfy. You are also provided with plenty of flatware and glasses/plates/bowls, etc.. to get you through the weekend should you choose to eat there, which we did! We did a grocery store run the first night and grilled steaks and veggies on the awesome BBQ they have, and ate out on the lovely dining table. The next morning we made bacon, eggs, and toast and dined al fresco again. They have a great communal area for hanging out with comfy stylish furniture, a fire-pit table, and a large hammock under their gorgeous oak tree, which one of my friends laid in for a couple hours one night. The wifi is good, and they even have speakers inside and outside of each camper if you want some jams! I can tell you a lot of 80's music was played outside, hope Kristy and Evan didn't hear us! So aside from this being a really great place to stay and hang out with friends, the hosts, Kristy & Evan are probably the sweetest couple I have ever met. They came down and greeted us about 30 minutes after we had all arrived and talked with us a bit before going back up to their house. They also had their two adorable dogs come down with them, who are some of the most loving dogs I have ever met. Lastly, let's not forget, the GOATS! And the sheep, and the chickens, and the ducks.
