Also Room 10's windows is right next to the bus stop, so you hear a lot of conversations and a lot of loud cars drive by. Fortunately the hotel provides earplugs and an eye mask which was really cool. There's also a complimentary breakfast from 8-10 and I appreciated the 2 clearly marked gluten free items on the menu.

For example, when I asked him for an ice tea he rudely commented that I'd should go to 7-11 down the street or something. Dude needs a break. Anyway, I walked a block or so down the street and found an awesome little place called Kaffene (sp?) that had great iced tea - no thanks to Dante!

In the busy season they do book up so make your reservation early. Prime location right next to the pier. If you are on the beach side you will have an amazing view. Lots of places to eat within walking distance and a bunch of antique shops as well We were in room 202 which is an upstairs king room. The bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion and liquid hand soap so no need to bring your own. Our room had a jetted tub The bedroom area has a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, fireplace and 3 chairs to lounge in. They provide an extra blanket if you get cold. There is best but no A/C. However there is a box fan in the closet and a ceiling fan as well Outside you have a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table. Beautiful View. Just be careful eating outside as there are lots of seagulls However they were friendly All day in the lobby you can get hot tea and hot chocolate along with fruit and cereal. From 8 am to 10 am they add coffee. From 4 pm to 5 pm they have beer and wine available They also have sugars and creamers available Breakfast is included each morning. You fill out a card with your choices and drop it at the front desk before 5 pm the night before. You can also leave it hanging on your door. Each morning you can have a pastry or quiche, flavors change daily. They also have yogurt, hard boiled egg, fruit, orange juice or milk. We had the quiche each morning and they were delicious. You can also choose what time between 8 am and 10 am you would like it delivered. Each afternoon freshly baked cookies are placed in your door hanging in a cute bag. The oatmeal and chocolate chip were amazing. If you want excellent service and amenities then this should be your choice. Very personal service, amazing location and quiet. Keep in mind there is no food in the evenings so eat before you come back or bring something back. Upon arrival, We walked in with another couple, and there wasn't anyone to greet us for about 5 to 10 minutes. The other couple texted, called without connection. There were no instructions on checking in either. So we were just confused together for a while until our host appeared. In addition, a dog was barking intermittently the whole night, for both nights that we stayed. So that detracted a little but overall a good experience and would recommend.

It meant so much to us to see that connection. The entire property is peaceful and stunning, with gentle rolling hills, goats, chickens, and cows (though we didn't spot the cows this time!). We also had the pleasure of enjoying breakfast most days with their wonderful chef, Dominique, who made such delicious food--everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Martin who is the owner and purchased this vineyard in 2005, he built this winery literally from the ground up. He is a native from New Zealand and brought the Kiwi culture into this unique winery which is 1 of 300 wineries in Paso Robles. Julia was very helpful & kind, and an excellent wine pourer. I purchased the 2023 Kapua (white blend) for $36 and a short sleeved t shirt for $26. This being our first stop on our "Wine Line" tour was worth the views and ambience, great tasting and full of the Kia Ora spirit!

Literally, bags weren't even out of the car before everyone disappeared. No cell signal. Had to LEAVE property to call owner to ask basic check-in questions. Ended up with a bath towel that once it was damp it smelled like cat pee. No views whatsoever. Outdoor furniture grossly dirty or rickety or without pads. I could go on and on. Way way way overpriced.
