The women at the office were very helpful and able to help me easily. Nate arrived bright and early at 8am. He was very thorough in discussing possible options with me. He even went up into the attic. When I mentioned we recently moved in and am not very familiar with the house yet he was incredibly helpful asking if I have any additional electrician questions! That's really going above and beyond! Value wise they are very competitive! The other quote I got was $500 and $700 depending on if there was an existing fan that's simply replaced or an all new install. Vine beat both of those quotes and even have a 5% off summer promo of the estimate if approved same day. I called back with a request to change some details on the installation. I was referred to 1st Choice Electric by my realtor and had the opportunity to work with Jim for my main circuit panel upgrade. Unfortunately, my home insurance company didn't notify me in advance that they would drop my coverage if I didn't upgrade my old panel, so I was in a bit of a rush. Jim kindly fit me into his busy schedule and managed to replace my panel a month before my deadline. I received several quotes from other companies, but Jim's estimate was by far the most competitive. On the installation day, his team member Clayton came to handle the entire process. Clayton was incredibly friendly and took the time to explain the work he completed. He also ensured that the utility company came back to restore my power before he left. I have hired him now for 3 jobs: 1) Install new electric panel. 2) Install outlet outside my converted garage for an EV charger. 3) Install two ceiling exhaust fans, one in each bathroom. On time. Very professional and courteous. And TOP NOTCH work. With electrical work, there is always the risk of fire if it's not done right, and I can sleep soundly knowing my family and I are safe, because everything 1st Choice does is done right, done to code, done safely. And they clean everything up. I mean, everything. (So many contractors are half-assed about that!) Jim was great! We were looking to get a service change and add wiring for fans in 4 rooms, and heard good things about Jim from a friend. He was super responsive, helpful and answered all my questions about the process and what needed to happen. He was available to come out pretty quickly after we first spoke and was on time, professional and everything was taken care of and cleaned up at the end of the day. Jim is the guy! He was recommended by a friend/ co worker who found him on Yelp for a Tesla wall charger installation. Great price, superb job! He also recommended a power surge protector which he was able to install as well. I had no idea I didn't have one and how important it is to have one.
