I initially went here as a last minute option after my sister had referred me to 1960 Family Practice saying that they were really convenient for her, which she wasn't wrong about. First off, we all know that no one LIKES to go to the dr but hey, we gotta take care of ourselves. Parking isn't too shabby, they have plenty of spaces but can be full sometimes. This place is not too fancy, but it's clean and they have ample seating with chairs that are not too squished together so you have some sort of space between you and the other people waiting. One of the main reasons I like coming here is the ease of scheduling appointments. When I get sick, I try to call first thing that morning to set an appointment and they always try to get me into the earliest one. The receptionists are never rude and are helpful to update any information such as insurance changes over the phone to save you time when you're in there. The rest of the staff are also very friendly and helpful, I haven't encountered any debby downers while I've been coming here, so that's cool. Wait times aren't bad either. Most of the time, I haven't been sitting down for more than 10 minutes before my name is called. Now to the doctor. Dr. Lance Pickard is great. He's always very nice and in a good mood and I never wait long in the exam room. What I like is that he takes time with me and doesn't rush my office visit and is happy to answer any and all questions that I have as well. After your visit, checking out is a breeze and they always get me in and out. The only negatives I have is that their pharmacy can be a hot mess sometimes. I have waited a long time to have a prescription filled and once they couldn't find my prescription so I suggest just going to your ordinary pharmacist to have your meds filled. Overall, this place does the job. They make your doctor visit easy and makes your sick days less of a headache.

If he was just making a point his facial expressions said otherwise. He should maintain full professionalism no matter what the circumstances. I LOVE doing things online & this practice makes everything easy. Once my new patient forms were filled out, the office called me & got my appointment scheduled immediately. Their office is located in a convenient area with plenty of parking. The office is clean & hey, gotta love a place that plays music like "Fat Bottom Girls" & "Enter Sandman". For the first time ever, I was seen promptly & shown to the examination room. I love Dr. Tucker! She is awesome, nice & has a really relaxed vibe. Before long, I was on my way for my blood test & how convenient there is a small Lab Corp office off of their reception area. So a one stop visit. Staff are extremely nice & efficient. What I don't appreciate is when medical practitioners get offended when you ask questions, or challenge theories when it comes to your own health. It is my body and my life, I think every patient should ask questions and challenge conventional theories. I have a thyroid issue. I am trying to find ways to heal it. I have been seeing Dr. Horsefield for maybe 5 years now, and have noticed passive aggressiveness before... but what I recently experienced is clearly unacceptable. I saw him for my regular annual appointment 3 months ago. My TSH levels were too high, so I got on some thyroid supplements and we retested about 6 weeks later. The results came in and the TSH levels were too low. I have since readjusted my medication and sent him an email politely asking if he could order the bloodwork to retest my levels so I can ensure i am now healthy and found the right balance. His response was callous. I have attached a photo with the passive aggressive response, where he makes it clear that he wont put the test in the system because he doesn't get paid for "answering emails, ordering tests, reviewing tests, communicating test results and maintenance of records" ..... REALLY? Aren't those tasks associated with being a doctor? I would be happy to pay him, for me it isn't about the money at all. In addition, clearly SOMEONE is getting paid when I order these lab tests because I'm charged thousands of dollars for them. All I need though is the bloodwork.... and he doesn't have availability for 2 months!?! I'm extremely disappointed that someone in the healthcare field is so much more concerned about their wallet than their patients health. Also if he wanted to charge me a processing fee that is fine, but his solution is clearly not in my best interest to wait 2 months and potentially do irreversible damage to my body.
