He performed the emergency operation that saved my life, and I will forever be grateful. After stabilizing me, he did something that shows how deeply he cares about his patients: he referred me to a far better fertility doctor because he knew I needed more specialized and attentive care than I had previously received. That referral changed everything for my fertility journey. A few months later, he performed my endometriosis excision surgery and removed my tubes. Even though it was after four o'clock, and the Doctor's office was closing soon, I was able to meet with Dr. Brian Schuster at Uro Partners in Hinsdale. Dr, Schuster did a complete exam, identified my issue and took immediate steps to address my discomfort. I was provided a thorough explanation of what was causing my discomfort and given a prescription to resolve the issue. My thanks go out to Dr. Schuster and the entire Uro Partners Team. She is straight to the point and she is a calm collected professional with an ability to provide a lot of data about patient safety and satisfaction. I am scheduling direct to OR for a corrective surgery. After a nightmare at NM this is an easy situation at Loyola. Just have to go to my own PCP for preop (another advantage! Loyola winning more points here!) The doctor noted how needlephobic I am and decided to skip doing the in office nerve block and schedule me direct to OR in January.

This place is horrible. Called for a consult with Dr Merrick and explained what I needed - no…read moreissues about what I needed, nor with my insurance. Upon seeing Dr Merrick, he says he does not treat what I need and I need to go to a "specialist". A month later, I get a bill for $800 that is not applied to my deductible. Apparently UroPartners never verified with my insurance what I needed is something my insurance would actually cover with them. It's something they absolutely needed to verify ahead of my service, and if it was not covered, actually have communicated with me. Communicating with this office is horrible too. Any time I have called to get a question answered with the PRactice Manager, Renata, I have to wait 2 days, they call back at a bad time, and then tell me to go call my insurance. I am filing an Illinois Attorney General complaint against this practice and Dr Merrick for not verifying services covered by insurance ahead of service, for non-disclosure, and for misrepresenting themselves in treating something they don't actually do.

So whomever you might be seeing, there are usually a number of places where you can set up an appointment. This is a busy practice location so there is a short wait at times, but the doctors and nurses who work here are very professional. I started with this practice in the 1980's in Oak Lawn and have followed them out to Chicago Ridge...one of these days I'll try their Orland Park office. If you need a urologist, these are good people.

The practice is a bit hectic sometimes, and brace for medical students' attempts at phlebotomy, but it's all worth it for the services of Dr. Kozlowski. Now that the issue I went to see him for in the first place is cleared up, I'm making sure to stay on top of my routine checkups in his area of expertise.

I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where I was admitted and was diagnosed with a UTI and Sepsis., After I was released from the hospital I went to dr Vellos for post opp follow up. I told him I thought I still had a UTI and requested a urine test. He refused. During the office visit, I was told by Dr. that i never had bladder cancer or cancer cells. What I had was unusual cells. Two days later I had a urine test and it was determined that I still had the uti. I was put on antibiotics for 10 more days. I still have no urinary control and can't walk five months after being released at the hospital. I canceled my one month check up with doctor Vellos.

It is going to hurt them in the long run. The office was updated and lacks warmth. Bad job. Feels better waiting at the local meat counter. Speaking low toned and fast like they are put out.
