I've had more than 10+ cars tinted in the past, but wanted to look for the best place to get my 3 tinted since the rear window can be tricky. I actually found these folks on youtube and was blown away by their prep and work. These folks have blown every other tint shop I've gone to out of the water; on top of this, the prices are more than fair. They're very proud of their work - this is obvious as soon as you walk in. There's a giant viewing area where you can see them work. This is the opposite of a lot of places that prefer you look through a tiny window or not even seen your car once. I'm excited to be bringing my i4 to these guys later this week to get Expel PPF apply. So far the communications have been good. Joshua reached out to me pretty quickly after I contacted the business. He gave me upfront costs, explained their application process, and the differences between the different packages they offer. Will add more later this week. Update: 7/5: Dropped off my car to get their platinum ppf package. Joshua did a thorough walk through with me, explaining along the way, all the parts that will be covered. This may or may not be standard practice with other installers, but I'm glad they do it here. 7/8: picked up my car. Joshua was there and we did another walk through, reviewing the work that was done. Excellent job, all the seams along the edges were well hidden. The expel ppf was thicker (a plus) than I thought but super clear. I opted for a ceramic sealant add-on but they didn't have time to apply it. I was informed this could happen when I dropped of the car so not a prob. Without the sealant, the ppf felt a bit rough and dusty. That's fixable though. We made an appointment for me to bring the car back. 7/14: Brought my car back in for the ceramic sealant (wish I could have gone for the ceramic coating but it was out of my budget). Picked up my car a few hours later. My car looked so glossy... even with just the sealant, and it felt smooth as glass. I'm very happy with the work these guys do. The facility was very clean. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful. I feel better now, knowing my car have a bit more protection. There whole processes, from dropping off the car to getting the car just the way I wanted it, took about a week, I was without my car for like 3 days. Overall, worth it! This location only does XPEL tint! No more Llumar (as of my visit on 3/15/2023). Great customer service and high quality work. I just wished the information provided to me had been more accurate. I had an excellent experience with Llumar FormulaOne Pinnacle tint before. Unfortunately, the shop I previously used no longer does automotive tint, so I used the Llumar Dealer Search and found Genesis Window Tinting. I used the contact form on their website, received a very detailed quote for Llumar F1 Pinnacle tint within 1 business day, and was able to schedule an installation appointment that same week. Once I arrived, however, I was informed by Esmy that this location only does XPEL tint while their Roseville location does Llumar. I was a little caught off-guard but was lucky to have learned enough about XPEL beforehand (coincidentally) and be comfortable having it installed. I probably could've had XPEL installed for around the same price much closer to home in the Bay Area, but I was already here. I ended up choosing XPEL Prime XR Black, 35% front sides, 15% rear sides and rear windshield. I was told the install would take 4-5 hours, and it was done in about 3.5. During a final QC check, they found an imperfection on one of the tinted windows and redid it. Appreciate the attention to detail! Got to meet Sid (the owner) and Joshua (I believe?). They made sure I was comfortable while I waited and offered to check on the status of my car. It's been a week since the install and everything is great so far. I wanted to Love this place. Was referred by a friend and the stellar reviews. I scheduled an appointment for a window tint for my husband's truck as a Christmas present 1 month in advance. We came in as the first appointment, went over all the options and decided to go with ceramic upgrade on all windows including windshield as we were demonstrated on the power of heat reduction it would provide. We opted to stay and wait in the lobby. Fast forward 1 hour and a 1/2 later, and 3 quarters of the way completed, we were told they could not tint the windshield because of the roof rack installed, and the wiring harnesses that is ran down the windshield which they said would require an up charge to remove the adhesive in order to accommodate the tint but they didn't have enough time to do it That day and would be an additional $150 . Had that been relayed to us in advance when they saw the vehicle out front, or when they drove it in the back or even when they began work, we probably wouldn't of paid for the upgraded ceramic tint if the windshield could not be done. I just do not understand why the technicians nor the service staff didn't stop in advance to go over these issues prior to starting and pulling the vehicle in the back. I Nicely asked for the manager to reach out to me to discuss this as I feel we were lesson to be learned, but no follow-up has been made since that day, which is quite disappointing read more

Appointment: Dropped off in AM, picked up the same day by 5PM. Quick & easy. No issues. Small bubbles went away after a few weeks due to it needing time to set.
