While installing my windshield, they uncovered RUST ! I had bought my vehicle used recently and did not know of that issue. I was referred here by another shop since they were out for a week on vacation. He had told me that he had known them for the past 20 years so I thought I would give it a shot. I called Wednesday if they were able to do a chip repair I had gotten earlier in the day. Lori was honest and helpful towards the process of repair and when they were able to fit me into the schedule and recommended things for me to do to keep the crack from spreading. Unfortunately, this is the second time we've had to take our car in for windshield repair; the last time was in 2021. I found Precision Auto Glass by searching Yelp! And they had excellent reviews. We have windshield coverage through Progressive and can pick the repair shop. Lori was great; she got the claim, worked on ordering the replacement windshield, and even offered a weekend installation. Tim worked on the car both times and did a great job. I had a chip in my windshield for a while and it started to crack. And then the line started going across the windshield. I definitely waiting too long. I was hoping to get it repaired before Thanksgiving. I didn't help that I was calling around on Tuesday either. I called and left a message and Lori called back with a quote. I asked if they could fit me in on Wednesday and after some checking, she confirmed a Wednesday appointment. I couldn't believe it! I called on Wednesday to confirm, and Lori said that I was good to go. Tim did a great job on the windshield, and it was a very reasonable cost. My car is 9 years old, so this windshield is much clearer and it makes the car look cleaner as well. And it didn't take long at all. Quote was $365 less than safelite for my 2020 Camry. They were done in less than an hour and the recalibration was done right. They also used the same glass brand Safelite used on my wife's toyota, so no difference in quality of glass. It's a little out of the way but definitely gonna be the first call from now on. read more
