No compassion--it's all about the $$$$. Tests galore--pricing insane. Staff at front desk are very good.

I had asked Dr. Salinger to come to my home to euthanize my 17 year old dog. I agreed to 10:00 am,…read morewhich I in retrospect was a ghastly error on my part. Dr. was punctual. Very professional. She allowed plenty of time for our last goodbyes. My old girl hadn't had a chance to rise from a long nights slumber and get the morning's usual long long drink of water. It wasn't until after Dr. couldn't find a vein that I realized why. She didn't know that my dog was in much better shape than she thought. I was unprepared for an abrupt needle that delivered the 'sleep' medicine. My dog took a seizure. Very upsetting to me, as I was expecting a quiet passing. Dog was immediately unresponsive then gone. Dr. was kind enough to explain to me when I called the next day about why the shot needed to be delivered in the manner it was. Perception, I guess. Dr. Salinger completed the task asked of her. She did it well. Very professional, kind lady. She was not familiar with my doggy beforehand and that's on me. Special Lady.

All the veterinary offices were closed here and I was at a loss of what to do. I frantically called out of state for any sort of explanation of what was happening to my cat. This vet in Ohio was so sweet and helped calm me down and reassure me that by my description my cat was okay and was probably stressed out because she was at least responsive. Thank you so much for your help she is doing much better.

We all knew it was time for our 15 year old baby girl to cross the Rainbow Bridge, including her,…read morebut she needed help crossing the bridge. She always hated the vet, and I shuddered at the thought of going to the vet's impersonal office - I had visions of metal tables, all business, and a horrid pit in my stomach for the rest of my life. Our family decided that in home compassionate euthanasia was how we wanted to handle things. Unfortunately, it took several calls over about a 7 hour span to our vet to try to get a recommendation, as I did NOT want to go pot luck on something like this. The place they suggested was lovely, but couldn't come until the following evening. During that time, our beautiful fur baby deteriorated significantly. I couldn't bear the thought of her suffering. My sister made some calls to get recommendations, and Dr. Fraser from In-Home Pet Loss came recommended from three independent sources. He was able to get to us within a few hours. He explained every single thing that he did. He was gentle. He was caring. He was completely respectful of all of us. We kept her in her bed, which truly was her happy place, and we were able to hold her, stroke her, and talk to her the entire time. It was as dignified and peaceful as possible. While we all knew it was time, none of us wanted to say goodbye, but Dr. Fraser helped guide us through the process. He provided us paw prints for our memories, and when everything was over, he carried her out in her bed, (which he then returned to us) which was much more comforting than I could have expected. Thank you, Dr. Fraser, for helping us through truly one of the most heartbreaking things we have been through.

AVOID WORKING WITH THIS COMPANY!!…read more We have had multiple issues with the fence. Just after the first year it quit working complete for one of our dogs, it just beeps and vibrates, while our other dogs collar constantly shocks and won't stop. We asked for them to come out and fix things and the company informed us it will cost $190 for them to see what is going on. When requested to speak with a manager they let me know will be 24-48hours to do so.... They will treat you nice initially, then after the initial first year their attitudes change and their customer service is complete trash. After spending thousands of dollars you would think a company wouldn't charge you for their own tech issues. I would never utilize this company again and i hope others won't either. PLEASE reach out to me prior to working with this company and I will provide even more details on why you should avoid this company at all costs.

It has a lifetime warranty, which was an extra fee. I called the 800 number and was told I could pay $180 for a service call or drive an hour and ten minutes to their closest location. Drove up there based on the hours posted online only to find they were only open on Thursdays 10-4. Took a second trip up there and the representative said the collar was fine. Today, my dog was in my neighbors yard. Decided to call the local Dog Watch franchise. They are coming out on Monday to install a new system. I am done with Invisible Fence, they were great when they had local independent offices, and since going national, eliminating most of their locations, the customer service is horrible. Dog watch offers a lifetime warranty on all of their equipment and receivers. Batteries last two years. Looking forward to some peace of mind.
