Had their pizza this weekend. It was made to perfection. Best pizza in the area. We did a carry out.

A little cold today and it wasn't quite the summer season yet, so everything was indoors…read more But this looks like a great place for summer drinks and activity. Located in the center of the Chain O' Lakes area, I'm sure this is a hot spot in summer. An amazing menu for this sports bar. They had a little (or a lot) of everything. I had the salmon with a bowl of one of their many soups. I wouldn't expect a bar to make great salmon, but they did not disappoint. I'd come back just to have it again. As far as the soups, I think they offered at least four. I ordered the Loaded Veggie (or something like that!). It was very good. Friendly staff, everything prepared well. Lots of interesting locals to talk to at the bar.

Chain O' Lakes Bar…read more& Grill is exactly what you hope to find when you pull up to a resort‑area bar and grill-- it seems welcoming and friendly, and I bet this place packed in the summer. Even in the off‑season, it has that "weekend" energy, in a good way. If I lived here, this would be a primary hangout for a beer or two. They've got a solid tap list, nothing special but definitely better than your standard domestic‑only lineup. We ended up splitting a Cuban sandwich, which came with homemade potato chips which were quite good. But the real surprise was the jambalaya. Saw this after the fact but lots of Yelpers have been making note of this soup. Tons of flavor, great spice level, and it feels like something you'd never expect from a typical Northwoods bar menu. And yes, you can even take home a quart of the soup. Next time I am in Waupaca, I am bringing some home. The menu in general is what you'd expect from a place like this--burgers, wraps, sandwiches--but with more variety and more "made‑with-care" options than the usual lakeside joint. There's plenty of parking, and for warm weather months they've even got volleyball courts, which adds to that relaxed resort atmosphere. Overall: a great stop if you're in the area, and absolutely worth revisiting for that jambalaya alone.

I have been pleasantly surprised with Little Cesars in Waupaca. I usually order the pan pizza…read more(square one) the crust is nice and crusty on the edges. I always ask for extra sauce on my pizza, I wish little Cesars franchise would increase the amount of sauce on their pizza's. As I read other reviews I see that I am not alone in that thought. I also order extra cheese, we in Wi love our cheese. I have never been dissapointed, but I always make it clear to them that in the past I have asked for extra cheese and sauce and was dissapointed when I got home with my pizza. When I tell this to the person taking my order they do a great job with my pizza. You might notice I gave 4 stars vs 5. That is because of the poor personalities of the people in the restaurant. They don't seem very happy to be there. One time I stopped in and a manager from Two Rivers was filling in and she was absolutely fantastic and very personable. I don't know if cell phones are destroying our youths ability to interact with public or what is going on? When I worked in the food industry it was mandated that we interact with the employees and make them feel welcome. That does not seem to be the case. We were told to wear a different hat when you are behind the service counter and leave your issues from home at home. Maybe management or trainers can start stressing the importance of service with a smile? Inside of the restaurant is what is expected for a very fast food pizza place. It is cold in atmoshpere but it is strictly take out so who cares if there are just a few chairs in the store. Anyway, I love little Ceasars in Waupaca and I go frequently.

Yeah NOT $6.78 add on by any means... wonder where the extra bit is going to? Judging from the pics to come....not for making the pizza.

I've never been to the bowling alley, but my husband bowls on a Tuesday men's league here, and I…read moreaccompanied him last week to watch and decided to grab a bite to eat. It seems like a fun place to bowl as the lanes are very nice. There is a large bar and a few slot machines around the alley. The gentleman taking my order wasn't accommodating at all. Perhaps, he didn't know that I'd never been there, but as a business owner, you should always treat your customers as if it was their first time to visit your establishment. Before moving to Wisconsin, I'd never heard of broasted chicken, but my husband has always talked about it because he knows I love fried chicken. When I saw it in the menu, I knew that it had to be ordered. It took about 15 minutes and when it arrived, the first thing I noticed was how crispy the skin looked. I ordered dark meat because I love chicken thighs. The chicken was spot on awesome! I did have to S&P it but the flavor was still very good. The chicken was so juicy but not greasy which I love. I ordered potato wedges and coleslaw to go with it. The wedges were probably the frozen ones but very crispy and crunchy along the edges. The coleslaw was savory/sweet and one I've missed from living in Texas. All the coleslaws that I've had up here are savory and not enjoyable. This meal was very good. I'll definitely go again and probably order the broasted chicken. My husband enjoys bowling here over where we go on Saturdays for our couple bowling league as the lanes at Waupaca bowl are nicely oiled. It's also larger and the tables at the lanes are more inviting to visiting while bowling. I'd like to try bowling here one evening too.
