I came in the other day with a chipped tooth that was starting to bother me. The pain was starring to give me headaches so I decided it was time to get this checked out and by checked out, TAKEN OUT! While I was holding my tender cheek I looked through yelp to see which one could accept me as an emergency visit and with no dental insurance. I was in pain but not ready to brake the bank! I came here and was blown away by the homey feel and the amazing christmas decorations I love the holidays and seeing this made my forget the pain (but just for a minute) I was able to come in and get an emergency xray(just $40 in the affected area) they gave a cute chapstick to take home and they gave me the best mews that they were able to take me in that same day! The doctor was the best. She was so sweet provided me with the care I needed to feel comfortable and safe. She gave me 2 squishy heart stress balls to hold if I was in pain and they were an indicator if I was in too much pain to provide me with more anesthesia, and boy did I need it! After it was all done I was tender and numb but I was so happy ! Finally this tooth is gone and I can think of all the tasty foods I'll have next week for Thanksgiving ! From the very first time I called and spoke to them on the phone to the time I left their office I have had nothing but an amazing experience. Ruth, the office manager is one of the nicest people I have met. She is always ready to help whenever it is needed and does it all with a great attitude. The treatment assistant's, Priscilla and Vanessa are also great. They walk you through everything that is going to be done with a great attitude as well and have a very gentle hand. Dr. Brianne is the best dentist I have seen. She was very understandable with my fear of dentist's and was able to calm me down and walk me through everything that was going to happen, which I truly appreciated. I liked them so much that I referred my entire family to them and they have also reported the same great experience. I had two of my wisdom teeth removed and the whole procedure was completely painless. I did have laughing gas to calm my nerves but the whole procedure was not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. Overcharge for people that don't have insurance. They charge a percentage if you use care credit on top of what you already owe. Make you do an xray every time and charge you if it's an emergency service. Long wait. Not enough staff. They are friendly but kind of sneaky. They took money from my account to my last cent without telling me for money I owed. I didn't even get it back right away. After I went in to get overly charged with care credit. My wife's teeth came out nice. She used fillings to fix her chipped teeth. They should've used a crown. We spent so much money here. They will try to make you think you're getting a deal but if you don't have money they will charge your bank account. Dr. Luu helped straighten my teeth with Invisalign. It was much quicker than my mom's metal braces and I didn't have to deal with brushing around the brackets. I am very happy with how my teeth turned out. After the last set of Invisalign Dr. Luu double checked my bite and helped reconstruct my front teeth (which are mostly composite bond from some trauma years ago). We were visiting family in Glendora when my youngest kid ate some hard candy and broke a tooth. My sister in law called her dentist. Dr. Luu, right away and despite the fact we are not patients of her, she was able to see my daughter and help her and got her out of pain. Like a lot of young children I had a bad experience at the dentist so I was very reluctant to go to one as I got older. I was referred to Dr. Luu by my sister because I was having a very painful toothache. I ended up having to get a root canal and a few weeks after that an extraction and both were virtually painless. She and her staff are very kind, welcoming and accommodating to all of their patients. They are happy to answer any questions and concerns that you have. This review is very deserved. This place commits fraud on their livingsocial vouchers. Look I get it, Livingsocial is a tough way to do business. However, if you aren't willing to provide a service, don't advertise it! Here is what they offered: Gentle Care Dentistry In-Office Teeth Whitening; or a Dental Exam, X-Rays, and Prophylaxis I opted for B the dental exam, x-rays, and prophylaxis. The dentist or her assistant provided a little bit of the dental exam and x-rays but when it came time for the prophylaxis they decided that only meant polishing of the teeth and wanted to charge me $70 for scaling. Granted I am not a dental professional so I got taken by this definition thinking that sure it might include a polishing even though every other dentist has always included a cleaning. I decided to look this up, http://www.dentaleconomics.com/articles/print/volume-90/issue-3/departments/dental-insurance/whats-a-cleaning.html "The ADA description for a D1110-Prophylaxis-Adult is: "A dental prophylaxis performed on transitional or permanent dentition, which includes scaling and polishing procedures to remove coronal plaque, calculus, and stains. Some patients may require more than one appointment or one extended appointment to complete a prophylaxis. Document need for additional time or appointments." So no, their definition is not right and they used the language to obfuscate what services they provide. I will see if I can get any satisfaction via reporting them to the state regulatory board although I would never step foot in this place again. read more

I was very excited when I saw ALL the GOOD REVIEWS from this dentistry place; However, going to THIS place ( Gentle care dentistry ) is a TOTAL WASTE of TIME & NIGHTMARE!!! "Gentle care dentistry" is a WASTE of TIME, MONEY SUCKER, UNPROFESSIONAL, & UNRELIABLE: they made me wait sitting in the patient's dental chair for 30 minutes inside the patient' room and no one came in, while I overheard DR.Luu and her assistant were talking & having dental care done for the other patient next to my room. If you don't have time for me , then why you scheduled me for that specific time ??? I don't like to waste your time nor mine !!! After another 10 to 15 minutes passed , finally her assistant came in and asked me to sign the consents for my procedures. So I signed. After that , DR. Luu came in and asked me what kind of procedures am I going to have. In my mind , I was like what ??? You didn't even read my chart and you don't know what I need ???....... Gezzzzz Dr.Luu was UN-reliable, based on my dental exam & x-rays exam ( took at her office), she told me at the beginning that I needed 4 fillings ; nevertheless, just before my procedures, she changed her "opinions " telling me that I need root canals & crowns. So I said no thanks and I LEFT her office after WASTING over 1 hour for NOTHING DONE, but with Extremely BAD experience!!! This place only wants your $$$$$ !!! Specially if you are cash patients like myself and of course patients with insurance too cuz DR.Luu and her team DEFINITELY know how to EXTRACT $$$$$$ from the insurance companies!!! I'll start off by saying that I used to be terrified of the dentist. I hadnt been in years, but a cracked tooth acouple months back gave me little choice but to go looking for one. So I began looking through the lists of dentists my insurance would cover me to see and I came across Dr Brianne Luu and something inside me said to call. The woman that answered the phone had a kind voice and I could hear general concern in her voice when I told her my situation, and told me I could come in at my earliest convenience. They were able to fit me in for later that day and when I showed up I met Ruth. She was the one who took my call and she was just as nice in person. I then met Jeannette and Dr Luu and they all passed my expectations. I started to cry as I was told I needed a route canal and Jeannette took my hand gave me a tissue and told me she had seen people so comfortable during Dr Luu's procedures they had fallen asleep, and she wasnt lying. My route canal literally felt like a tooth massage. The next time I came in was to fill some cavities that I had accumulated through the years of no dental work and they were the same as my route canal, very relaxing. This time when I came in the girls asked me how my work was going, how my friend was that had accompanied me in my original visit, it amazed me how much attention they had paid to everything that I had told them during my last visit. And what was even more amazing was that they werent just asking to make conversation, or even just to make me feel comfortable, it was because they actually care. Yesterday I had the worst toothache of my life, I was at work literally crying in front of clients when I knew I had to call, luckily they are open every other Saturday. Dr Luu answered the phone and told me she could fit me in at 11, words cannot describe how thankful I was. When I came in they couldn't see anything physically wrong with the tooth I was complaining about, but seeing my tears they did everything they could fix the problem. It was decided that my wisdom tooth was the cause of my pain and right then and there they took it out for me. This was all in between assiting other guests who im sure they attend with the same caring attitude they do for me. In closing, Dr Luu is hands down the most amazing dentist I have ever seen, and as a child I had seen a lot. Not only is she an amazing dentist, but an amazing human being. And I cannot of course forget about Ruth and Jeannette, who always make me feel like I am literally apart of their family. I must start by saying that I am deathly afraid of dentists....and after neglecting my teeth for too long, one started giving me problems. After it came loose and in fear of actually loosing it I contacted Dr. Brianne Luu's office at 6:30 p.m. on a Tuesday night. To my delight they were open AND willing to see me for my "emergency" (in my mind it was lol) that very night! YAY... Of course I needed a root canal on a front tooth! My fault..
