In May 2021 my daughter (in her 20's) was in a really bad skating accident. Think skatepark bowl, doing tricks, not sidewalk skating. She had messed herself up so bad. Sitting in the emergency room with her she had one tooth cracked in half, hanging literally from a root and another broken in half, numerous cuts, scraps & lacerations to her beautiful face, a fractured wrist and a major concussion. I was FREAKING OUT and scared for her, she was in so much pain and I knew she was going to loose her two font teeth. While sitting in the emergency room with my daughter I frantically called NINE emergency dentists and left a message with every single one of them! The ONLY dentist to call me back was Dr Mirium, less than 10 min. after I had left a message. She immediately calmed me down & comforted me and reassured me that my daughter would be okay and that she would take care of her right away. Fast forward to today. I never did receive a return phone call from any of those other eight emergency dentists I left messages for. Through This whole process Dr. Mirium has gone above and beyond for my daughter, making sure everything was perfect and comfortable. Calling frequently to check in on her. She's not only given her a gorgeous smile. She has also given back her self esteem and confidence. My whole family now see Dr. Mirium, we wouldn't trust our smiles with anyone else! We are all so thankful for everyone in that office! I hope that my trust, love and respect for them are conveyed in this review! Original Post: I was referred here by my daughter school. They told me she had 5 cavities and I have an HMO quoted me me over 600 each time which would be 2 or 3 times. I called my insurance and they told me that was not right have them run a predetermination to assure it was the right cost i get the laughing gas is extra but they said it shouldn't be that. When asked​ for a copy they gave the run around and said ill mail it to you. Well a month later I am still waiting. They are so quick to make appointments for them but when it comes to the customer they dont care to help or work with you. Will not be going back for myself or my daughter. *** update, I just have to say I took my daughter to another pediatric dentist, she infact did NOT have 5 cavities and she did NOT need any work done. My daughters and I have consistently been going to our dentist for 19 years, getting regular cleanings every 6 months. Unfortunately our family dentist retired and I made appointments for us to be seen at Foothill Family Dental Group. While the staff there is friendly, I have never paid so much out of pocket for regular cleanings. We have dual coverage with two different insurance groups, however billing was not clear and "irrigation" was not covered. I also do not feel the "cleaning" was done well. They said we needed "Deep Cleaning" which was never something our regular dentist required. When I did that and went back for the regular cleaning I never saw a dentist, and they simply polished my teeth. My family and I will not be going back... Also be prepared to wait a long time for your appointment! Save your money and do not go here. read more

Be careful when going to this dental provider. The staff is really nice and polite, but when it comes to billing and procedures, you need to be very cautious. I trusted what they told me and believed that certain services were going to be free or covered. In the end, I was charged for everything -- including procedures that I did not want. They were not upfront about what they were going to do or what I would be billed for. I strongly recommend double-checking your bill and clearly confirming any procedures before agreeing to treatment. Don't assume anything is free unless you get it in writing. Unfortunately, I trusted what they told me, and now I have to pay for services I did not want and procedures they said I would not be billed for. They will tell you that the doctor is "helping you out," but in reality, that was not my experience. I feel like I was overcharged and misled. Proceed with caution. I had them as a dentist for a couple of years, but finally decided to make the switch. The main dentists and the assistants are very kind. However, front desk can be iffy sometimes. One of my least favorite things is that they can keep you waiting in the dental chair for hours if they overbook patients which I wasn't very happy with. In regard to price, they charge more than the typical dentist does. Not the worst place, all the procedures I had here went smoothly, but long wait times + price ultimately drove me away. read more

The staff is very nice and polite, but when it comes to billing, I found I was overcharged more than $3700 and I was charged for an implant that was scheduled for January 5th, 2026 back on December 12, 2025. It turned the implant never happened because the doctor told me I needed sinus surgery. I checked what Delta Dental and what I was suppose to pay and the numbers don't add up. The dental assistants and receptionists are extremely kind and helpful. However, it is clear to me that the doctors of this practice prey on patient fears to milk as much money out of you. They will try and tack on as many costly procedures to your treatment plan as possible, making it seem like it is your only option. Dr. Armouk has no professional decorum. She is completely dismissive and actually shooshes and polks patients, making ridiculous comments and doesn't respect the patient at all. She doesn't perform the procedure s as paid for and gets very excited when about to go after an insurance company and patient for what might be unnecessary, in her own words. I want to share my disappointing experience with Foothill Family Dental Group so that others can be aware. I took my son there because his front tooth was bruised, and his dentist recommended that he see an endodontist. When I called to make an appointment, I specifically asked if they had an endodontist on staff, and they said yes. However, after doing an X-ray, they told me he needed a CT scan, which cost $268 because my Medi-Cal did not cover it. The finance assistant rushed me into paying in full, and not even five minutes later, they said the tooth was fine and gave me two referral letters to other specialists. Unfortunately, these referrals had no contact information, and when I asked the front desk for help, they told me I would need to look up the numbers myself. To make matters worse, when I called the places they referred me to, neither was accepting new patients. I called the dental office back for other recommendations, but they said they didn't have any. I feel ripped off and frustrated because I paid so much for a scan that other offices said would have been free and in the end, I still have no specialist for my son. This is the most amazing, family oriented dental office I have ever experienced. I have been coming to them for almost 10 years. Even after I moved, I still go to them. I've seen the father, the mother and now both sisters. They are all awesome people. Caring dentists... the whole family. You are literally like family when you are seen by them. I have an extremely small mouth and they have managed to hive me 4 crowns and an implant. No one enjoys going to the dentist, but I don't hate it when I'm there! The front office is wonderful. I walked into this place for my first visit with my 4 year old. They had trash playing loudly on their TV in the lobby, completely inappropriate for a FAMILY practice. After 15 minutes of paperwork with repeated questions, they told me my little girl had to stay in the lobby while I get treatment. I suggested she stay right outside the room and I couldn't leave her alone. They told me I couldn't get treated today! What a waste of time! read more

I scheduled a new patient visit and arrived 5 minutes early for my appointment to be told that my appointment was 6 hours prior. They said they had been calling me and leaving messages, I showed them my phone with no missed calls! Ends up the person entered my phone number incorrectly and the Dr said there was no time to see me and that they could only reschedule me! I'm a cancer surgery coordinator and appointment details are second nature! What are the chances that the person who couldn't enter my phone number correctly, also entered the incorrect time? I've always been so scared from the dentist since I was a teen. Front desk was so nice and always reassuring, the assistants were so welcoming and super reassuring as well, the doctors! Both doctors are absolutely amazing. During my treatment, the doctor would tell me what the next step was, she made sure I was comfortable, would ask me if I was in pain when I wasn't, felt pressure but pain free.
