My first experience with Ward Family Dentistry was Kim, the receptionist. She was compassionate and understanding. It was evident that she really wanted to be helpful. Every time I've seen her since, she continues to be helpful, thoughtful, and empathetic. Dr. Ward explains everything he's doing and takes time to answer questions with every visit. Then proceeded to ask me questions based upon that, which was so great to see that he takes the time to be aware of the patient and their needs. I was fit in the same day for some moderate work I needed done, which was so convenient because I'd rather just get everything over with and done so I don't have to worry about it. The doc explained what was needed to be done, what had probably caused the issues, how I could prevent future issues and then walked me through everything he was doing. Also I told them I had a dental discount plan and they said they were part of that plan and would honor it. So about 2 weeks before my appointment they came back and said they would not honor that plan and instead of it costing 49 dollars it would be 195 dollars. And that an exam would be required by state law which is not true. And as i said i just had an exam and x rays and offered to provide that to to them. So i called the dental plan of which he is listed in group and he hasn't honored the plan in the last 3 years. He's just using it as a front to get people in his office by lying to them. Fraud. you should probably try and find an honest dentist to go to instead of this guy. if he will lie on the frontend to get you in would you trust what he has to say about your treatments and needs?

I don't know why they cannot seem to get the fitting right on the dentures and for months I have to go completely toothless and as anyone knows that is so embarrassing. At the same time I was dealing with my mother's death and had to speak with doctors and professionals with no teeth in my head. It was a very traumatic experience. And it is actually changed my life. My depression and anxiety has pretty much made me a recluse. I can't stand to be seen in public or even look at myself in the mirror because I still do not have a set of dentures that I can wear. They won't even stay in my mouth and they are so uncomfortable they give me major headaches. I went to so many appointments with them getting it wrong that I finally just gave up and was stuck with a very inadequate pair. I really wish that they would have explained the process to me better before I decided to go that route. They hardly explained anything. They so no compassion or even apologize for my situation. Everyone in the office I encountered were kind and professional. Dr. Dr. Huong. Nguyễn was my dentist and she was super thorough and made me feel at ease. I…read morehad a tooth pulled recently and it went pretty well, but she told me she was going to write a script for an antibiotic, but it never got called in, even after I talked to them a couple days later and reminded them. Twice they've referred me to another clinics to get root canals, and both times I ended up spending $2-300 in x-ray fees to be told those teeth are not saveable. While I'm not happy about these things, my cleanings and extractions I've had here were overall positive experiences.
