I booked a reservation at 430pm Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and shortly after I was being shown the grounds by a wonder man named Bob This facility is 81 units and they are all easily accessible. the units look brand new, no smell, we'll light and the price I was quoted is it NO adding fees or admin charges. also the cost for a 10x20 unit was basically the same as the competitors are charging for 10x10 unit on the fourth floor It's great value for my money and it was an easy transaction I would highly advise using this place for storage in the future Thanks

This place is so terrible it's not even funny…read more I had a 30 minute conversation with the woefully uniformed "owner" that swore up and down my unit was climate controlled. I've lost 1700$ worth of photo paper, film, and products because the unit regularly reaches 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. STAY AWAY. If the heat is fine for you there's rats that will chew everything as well. The kicker is that when I called to complain the guy at the front desk just insisted on talking over me the entire time.

He said "if you want information call the Salem manager." The tone of voice said it all!! This is the same employee who accused me of being in arrears when he first started working there. I had NEVER and NEVER have made a late payment. Though the purpose of this review is to help other people looking for storage. I would like to point out that JIM, a long-term, part time employee has ALWAYS been helpful, polite and wonderful in every way. He himself earns a five star rating *****, but sadly not everybody has Jim's high standards for customer service.

My only qualm was that one of the guys were complaining about his back hurting and it was a bit uncomfortable as they were being paid to help us move our boxes. It's the Ole bait n switch.. they get u in and once all your things are in there they raise the price cuz they got you. B) there were still plenty of open units so that supply n demand excuse is a scam. Then I find a cheaper place so I'm clearing out my two units and I tell them several days in advance that I will be out ON the first. At 630 pm the evening before the first they leave me a message saying that if my locks are still on my units when they go in in the morning that they will be charging me for a full month of rent even tho I said I'd be out ON that day. Now I understand if the place was full and someone needed to start moving in that morning but there were 7 available units available in the same size. With the slogan that says "we treat your stuff like our stuff" to me this showed me a lack of integrity and is very unprofessional. This isn't just me, my girlfriend has a unit there as well.. started at $143 a month, after 3 months they raised it to 199 and now at one year they want to bump it up to $270! Needless to say we will be pulling her stuff out from there as well. Bottom line... do not use public storage they suck you in and rip you off.
