The roasted Brussel sprouts were covered, literally smothered in bacon bits and feta. The sprouts were fried beyond crispy. If you like your sprouts super charred and buried under bacon, this dish is for you. I, however, would have preferred my sprouts less burnt and far less toppings. The French dip was shockingly NOT a salt bomb - which was a pleasant surprise. It's the first time I've had a French dip where I actually wanted to dip it in the side of au jus to give it a flavor bump. The real gem is Tanner's amazing selection of sides to choose from - you can swap in a twice baked potato, kettle chips with French onion dip, steamed broccoli, grilled asparagus or potato salad! Any other place would up-charge but Tanner's doesn't. I chose grilled asparagus and appreciated the separate packaging so the sandwich didn't get soggy. I would come back and try other dishes as the menu is quite large.

I'm just kidding, I always have more to say. ;) But, in fairness, it's a great little spot that's kind of tucked away about a block and a half off the main strip (College Blvd or whatever it's called). Noticed that the man at the grill was busy shaking dice and having a good time with 4 guys at the bar. 2 to go orders were picked up and I had my boyfriend go up and see if they started our food. He had not. We waited to 30 minutes and nothing. Very disappointed and upset. We paid for our Bloody Mary and a soda and left. Customer service was very poor tonight and nothing after 30 minutes. It was as loud and raucous while the game was on, but cleared out pretty quickly afterward. I assume it was because the Packers didn't win, however, the hosts were friendly and brought food around for everyone to sample and everyone was having a great time. The Ladder House was clean and had all the trappings of being a great, fun place to meet and enjoy a drink with friends. They have a lot of TV's so you can see the game from almost every angle. The beer is cold, the patrons are hot and I will be back.
