Ramon's was the second place I tried and both gave me comparable estimates for new leather straps - $65! That's actually more than the bag costed, but since it's a set, I decided to suck up the cost and have it done. Ramon's has good customer service, they gave me a reasonable date for when the work would be completed and they did a good job with the straps. I didn't care for having to pay in cash vs. being able to use my credit card - but aside from that, I'd say overall it was good.

This is a nice health center in the city of Blue Island and run by Cook County government. This location seems to be the replacement for the one that used to be in Oak Forest. It is another neighborhood location of the Cook County Health department. The day we were there ... to get a Covid-19 booster ... the center was immaculate. Shiny clean floors in a well kept and equipped building. We suspect most things are by appointment only, but one should check on the Cook County website. We did have an appointment and were in and out in a jiffy. All the personnel we met were helpful and friendly. They didn't seem very busy but that may be because of its newness. Give this place a try....
