So I went here in 2016 on my sister's recommendation. I did not think much of it, but he said I needed a crown, couldn't afford it even with great insurance. Fast forward to 2019, I go to a new dentist, they give me lackluster service and charge me a no show fee when I literally was home sick with Influenza A. They tell me all my teeth are fine and the injury to my gums is no problem, just get a cleaning every 3 months. I decided to just pay for Dr Harouni to look at my gums after no help for a year from my other dentist (Do not go to Lasting Smiles on Meadows Ln) and Dr Harouni sent me to a periodontist who is a gum specialist. His staff helped me get Care Credit to do my crown; which I can tell I need done before it gets to a root canal level of a problem. I am beyond grateful for Dr Harouni and his staff saving my teeth. I have a jaw malformation and only half the teeth touch to chew. I did braces for years, but no luck. Dr Harouni's office explained to me about my dental issues, they are all kind and professional, and I am very grateful I came back to their office. I cannot express the amazing care I recieved at Dr. Harouni's office. I had so much anxiety entering the office. Dr. Harouni and his staff made me feel completely relaxed and at ease. Courtney and Wendy, in the front office, are so wonderful at breaking down and explaining the cost and the various options. Courtney went out of ther way to explain Care Credit as well as help me get a huge discount on the work I needed done. She also called the lab to rush the work so I dont miss work during the first week of school (I teach). I will start with the good thing: everyone at this office during my brief appointment was very nice. The dentist himself was very kind and I don't doubt that he is great at dental work BUT on my first appointment, I received X-rays and he did not look into my mouth. From looking at the X-rays, he told me that I needed a root canal and crown replacement on another tooth. This seemed a little weird since I couldn't feel any pain on the tooth that supposedly needed the root canal. I trusted that he knew what he was talking about, spoke with the person in charge of billing because I don't have insurance but instead would be using a discount plan. In all, I was looking at about $4,000 for this treatment. I walked out a little confused because on the statement, there were missing billing codes for the most expensive "material upgrade" for both root canal and crown. I ended up having two second opinions after this and found out that I do not need a root canal, the crown does not need replacing and that not looking into a patient's mouth but recommending that much work is completely unethical. Again, I'm sure his work is great but my experience was that it is not an honest place. Unfortunate, but luckily I was able to find better care elsewhere. read more

Like most people, I am never excited about going to the dentist. Well, today I finally found a dental practice that I won't avoid in the future. Dr. Harouni is kind and thorough. He did not make me feel like I was just another patient. His cool demeanour immediately made me call and confident. Also, his office staff was incredible. They were welcoming and attentive. I went to Dr. Harouni with some issues. I actually worked in the dental industry in 2001. I was very satisfied with his friendly staff and his chair side manner. He worked fast and efficient. There is certain type of phobia for most going to to dentist. He was able to do 2 crowns and a root canal in about 2 hours with no pain. The anesthetic has worn off and I still feel great. If you are looking for a no nonsense dentist that gets the job done come here. If I could I would rate a 10! Courtney in the front office was very friendly. I love love this dentist. You get seen within 10 minutes of arriving and are finished and out the door super fast. I went to get 2 fillings and was done and out the door in less than an hour. they are also super friendly with kids, whenever my toddler comes with me they are super nice to her and give her stickers and toothbrushes. read more

I am so glad I found Dr Harouni. I've been going to him for over 10 years and I really feel like I get the best care from him and his entire staff. I've been to other dentists that want to drill and fill everything whereas here I feel they take a conservative but reasonable approach to their treatment recommendations. Very nice staff and very nice doctor. They have 5 stars for a reason. First dentist that shook my lips and mouth while injecting the numbing anesthesia! It really works to take the attention off of the needle going in your gum. I almost wanted to keep taking the needle in my gum so I could keep analyzing how cool his simple technique worked the hygienists are very sweet. I was in Vegas on vacation and had to be seen. I was sent to Dr. Harouni's office by a friend of mine and I was so pleased. The desk staff made sure to get me in ASAP and was super nice when I arrived. The dentist's assistant was also super nice, and when the doctor came to see me, he was honest and thorough in his assessment- which ended up not needing any work. I broke my dental bridge in 2010 in a work comp accident. I came to see Dr. Hourouni after doing my due diligence. Top of class USC blah, blah. After being fitted with the bridge, I knew I had an infection from poor fit at the margin. He saw me and ground down my natural teeth and the bridge. Still no improvement. I called his office and got the office manager. She told me to "rinse with salt water". Long story short... I had gangrene under the bridge, a subsequent bone infection, had a PICC line for 2 months and almost died from meningitis. I have lost 6 teeth. It is now 2015. I am still miserable and will be going to get 6 implanted teeth. My pain is controlled with narcotics and I have a healthy resentment. Dr. Hourouni, you are a joke of a doctor, your shoddy work is exceeded only by your glossy pictures and ego. Thank you for ruining my smile and my health. read more

I had fillings done on my teeth because I apparently grind my teeth when I sleep. He did 10 in all, the fronts of my teeth, so they show. He did it really fast , but with that speed came mistakes. He ground off too much enamel on my teeth and now they are gouged and uneven. I wouldn't care except that some of them are in the front of my mouth and I feel like my formerly great smile is damaged. I went back for him to re-do the polish and to smooth them out so they would look better, but they still look bad. The color match was good. I wrote a letter to the doctor expressing my unhappiness and one of his assistants called me and was quite abusive to me---made me out to be the bad guy and pretty much told me I was out of my mind to be less than thrilled with the doctor's work. I never met this woman, yet she didn't hesitate to berate me. She ended the call, said she'd call me right back---she never did call me. In all fairness, the other people working there were super-nice, and the doctor was nice, too, but he doesn't take the time needed to do a nice job. I'm out $900 and my smile confidence is gone. read more

I've never written a review before, but I was so impressed by Dr. Harouni and his staff, I wanted to take the time to let others know how wonderful they are. The crown on one of my front teeth had recently cracked and it was starting to stain and become sensitive. It was over ten years old, so I knew it was time for a replacement. Since it was my front tooth, I assumed that both front teeth would need to be replaced so they would match. Furthermore, I had a small chip in the tooth next to one of my front teeth that I wanted to fix as well. I figured I would do it all at once. Although I only needed work on three teeth, my previous dentist suggested I put crowns on eight of them so there would be enough room to make it look uniform. I could understand four, so they would match, but eight seemed excessive and very expensive. My friend, who is a maxillofacial surgeon, recommended that I see Dr. Harouni for a second opinion. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that I took his advice. Dr. Harouni's work was flawless, not to mention painless. I am such a weakling when it comes to any kind of pain, and I mean it when I say that I felt nothing. It didn't even pinch when he numbed me. He ended up putting crowns on four teeth, which was SO much better than eight and his work was truly amazing. I could not be happier with the results. It was evident that he really spent the time and effort to make sure everything was perfect. I am very thankful that I was able to find such a genuine, meticulous, and gifted dentist!
