My Mom's clutch went out and they could have charged her to fix it. George took it upon himself to call the Dealership to see if it was still under warranty. We had a good experience the first time we brought our vehicle to George. Unfortunately, our second experience today was not so great. 2 stars instead of 1 because of the initial good experience. 1. We were quoted a price by George to replace the radiator in our truck. George said that in order to replace the radiator, the whole front end needed to be removed in order to gain access to the radiator to remove and replace it. We asked him twice about it because we thought it wasn't necessary to remove the front end. He confirmed that it was necessary and quoted accordingly with the labor hours needed to remove and replace the front end as well as put in a new radiator. However, when we came to pick up the truck and noticed that one of the brackets holding up the front end was broken, the mechanic came over to the truck and said he didn't remove the front end and didn't notice a broken bracket. 2. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had also asked for a price for the radiator hoses to be replaced. We got a call a few hours later to pick up the truck and asked about the hoses but the person working the front desk, Rolie, said she "dropped the ball" and forgot about them.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We were quoted a price of $270 to replace the hoses with labor since the radiator was now put back in. We said that was too high and that we shouldn't have to pay for labor since it wasn't our fault that we didn't receive a call back prior to the radiator being put back in. A short time later Rolie called back and said they can put the hoses in for $200 so we agreed. 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A few hours later we get a call from Rolie saying the parts people dropped the ball so they wouldn't be able to put the hoses in today. She said she called around but only found one of the two hoses. We informed her that we needed the truck for Father's Day weekend and couldn't leave it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She stated that the hoses were damaged and couldn't be put back on, but would check with the mechanic. The mechanic stated he could put them back on and did. When we came to pick up the truck she informed us that there was nothing wrong with the hoses and that they didn't need to be replaced. 4. We called a parts store a short time later and confirmed the hoses were available today and went and purchased them ourselves and made an appointment at another establishment to have them put it. 5. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We picked up the truck and paid in full for the radiator replacement. Rolie suggested that we come back on a different day when George is there and talk to him about the broken clip. However, since we can't actually confirm how it was broken and we no longer have confidence in this establishment, we won't be returning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] ***Update: The owner had Rolie reach out to us, but just to be clear, since we won't be coming back the RIGHT thing to do would be to refund us for the work/labor that wasn't done since the mechanic did not remove the front end and we were charged for it. The mechanic even demonstrated how he went through the gaps in the grill to get to the radiator. I will update my review if George decides to do the right thing and provide a partial refund for work not performed. read more

I have been coming here for about 10 years. I am a woman and you can not always trust mechanics,but here I can!! I would sometimes get a quote from George but wanted to see what the dealership would say. The dealership would always say I had more issues then what George would say and of course extremely higher in price! George would laugh when I would come back and he would say "I told you"!! I would get the work done that he originally said was the problem and no issues or breakdowns would happen! The moral to the story is dealerships and mechanic shops will sometimes have you fix something sooner than you need to,George definitely does not do this!!! Work might be good, but I wouldn't know. I had a couple quick inquiries and the guy there couldn't even bother with answering anything for me. I needed some u-joints pressed out of my driveshaft. All I was asking was if that was something they could take a look at and if I could bring the driveshaft around since I live down the street. I came here as a result of a bad experience I had at a different auto body shop. I wasn't expecting much to be honest. It is after all a small business. I went in to fix my car which had been roaring for some months but I pushed through because I was so close to graduation anyway. When I went there, they told me I had to get a motor mount. I don't know much about cars and they could have quoted me anything really, but do you know what made me stay and not run out: the customer service and the respect. There were no games or gimmicks and they gave me a time frame to pick up my car. Do you know that my car was ready when they said it would be? Nothing was damaged or tampered with. I didn't have to burden them with incessant phone calls and the like. It was money well spent and a great graduation gift to give myself. My first visit to George was because my Chrysler 300 would stall in stop & go traffic. Taken to the dealer 3 times they said they could not find a problem, contacted George re: problem, said he thought he knew what the problem was needed to check to be sure. he ask had my car's computer been updated, needless to say that was the problem. no problem with stalling after that. just recently car gear was locked in park, George was notified called AAA Tow driver picked up car and towed it to the wrong company(up the street form George) that company knew that it was not the company that was to repair my car (because every time I requested to talk with George I would get the run around. The Lady quoted me a price $2,214. When I requested to speak to George same excuse. Contacted AAA after verifying the correct address, they contacted the Towing co and the driver stated he made a mistake because most autos the pick up are delivered to that company. That shop wanted me to pay for a diagnostic fee of $ 89.00. did not happened George repaired my car for $900.00. I am not sure but the whole situation seems strange to me? , I recommend George because he is knowledgeable, fair and most of all honest read more
