Came back 3-4 times for my alignment the same day these guys cannot do an alignment right and it sucks that I trusted them. how stupid can you be to put -3 three on one side and -2 one the other. on top of that they even stripped my rear camber arm so I have to buy a new one thanks to them. BEWARE!!! Manuel received a brand new Aluminum Engine Oil Cooler and Oil Filter Housing that I took to Manuel brand new! After driving home i got a check engine light because of the oil light coming on. Turns out that for some strange reason the brand new oil filter was found to be full of dirty oil, which I don't understand (I change oil every 5 thousand miles). I had the oil changed, oil filter changed and eventually had the new oil pressure switch replaced also. The mechanic who replaced the oil switch found the wires going to the oil switch bare and twisted together. He separated the wires but he says that the wires are probably damaged under the oil filter housing that Manuel replaced. It has cost me hundreds to this point and still having an oil pressure problem when all I needed done was to replace a leaky oil filter housing. DO NOT USE THIS GUY! I definitely don't recommend him to anyone! BEWARE!!! Look for someone else! read more

I went here for a tire patch $15. i've been to 2 different places (american tire depot and pepboys) which i have to wait atleast 2hrs. I walked in and gladly the guy said i can wait for it. I was there for about 40mins. not bad compare to 2hrs wait. American Tire offers free service but sometimes it is still better to pay for a quick and quality service. read more

The front driver's side tire on our Honda seemed to be losing air so we first called Smog Lube & Tune to ask if they could patch it. Hugo referred us to Manuel's and my wife took the car there after her ukulele club. I had advised her to resist any and all attempts to up-sell on a simple repair. If you've ever taken your car to Pep Boys or Jiffy Lube with a similar problem, you know the drill: "Can you step over here please?" whereupon every filter, belt and a few cables have been removed for your inspection followed by "These all need to be replaced" (even though you and the "technician" know it's a lie). Total parts and labor for the $20.00 tire repair estimate: $175.00 but only if they don't find something else (which they always do). Cathy was quoted $12.00 for the repair, advised that they found a nail in a reparable location and she paid (drum-roll please) $12.00. UPDATE: Today (December 17, 2016), I was in and out in minutes after a very reasonable $15.00 tire rotation. No hard sell for a new set of tires, no unsolicited estimates for a wheel alignment or other repairs. When the Subaru needs new horseshoes, I know where I'm going. UPDATE: Friday 02/16/18. After an oil change at Smog Lube & Tune, it was over to Manuel's for a tire rotation. In, out, and not a cent to pay because the tires were installed at the Mt.Vernon Avenue location in San Bernardino. Absolutely no pressure to buy anything else. Buy Local. Great customer service ... comes with a salesman. I brought my Malibu to this particular auto shop with a bad headlight on a late afternoon. They denied they're service because they said they didn't feel like it because it was too much work! The only auto shop who claimed to be open but wouldn't work on my car. It was an important fix and a risk to drive at night in fears that I might receive a ticket or worse! The shop is in Rialto and I live in riverside. He said he'd charge me $35 tomorrow. I came the next day anyway at an earlier time and he decided to charge me $60!! The mechanic took 2 hours longer than he claimed it would take before the job was "finished". The next day, I noticed my headlight was still out! I brought it again the moment they opened. He took it apart and told me that it was a different problem with my headlights rather than what he initially thought. I was told I would have to buy a connector and pay for the labor again !!!! He scammed me out of my first $60 and wants to charge another $85 for something that was supposed to be completed the first time. Moral: Don't come here unless your willing to pay for extra labor fees in case they mess up. I'm so disappointed. He's definitely great at talking though so be careful. read more

Thought it was time for a brake pad changing in my front tires, due to the squeaking sound I heard (thought it was my caliper parts scraping together due to the filled down brake pads) but ended up not even needing a change in them after all! Which would have been a great thing to tell me BEFORE changing my brake pads and charging me 55$ like I can just throw away money like that??? On the plus side they felt it was a good idea to leave both sides of my windows open half way, airing it out and making it clear it's open to anyone who's willing! Considering I clearly didn't have an alarm system. Like cmon bro. ??? You guys acted super cool but did this like ???? I have mixed feelings about this place But seriously, If I saw someone didn't need something changed or fixed, or I simply did not know, I would call and ask. Figured that would be something commonly thought of but I guess that's just me.. Your guys attitude was chill, just don't think I'll be coming back due to all those inconsiderate actions. // There was no talk of it due to personal experience with my mom, when her brakes were done we'd hear a squeak so I apologize for thinking it was the same thing for my own vehicle. But you're absolutely right! It slipped my mind to even mention it because in my head I believed "it's my brakes that need to be changed" and it saddens me that even in your expertise and knowledge of cars and their parts, you'd rather just switch my STILL padded brakes for new ones instead of calling letting me know there was no reason to change them. You're right, I shouldn't have diagnosed my own vehicle because I figured someone who would be honest enough to see something that clearly doesn't need fixing, helping me out money wise. But this was definitely a lesson, don't expect people to do for you as you would for them. And maybe this can be a lesson for you, not everyone has money they can just throw away. Maybe when you have a question, ask. Just as you are telling me to do. "Slightly open" ? they were half way down and my door was even unlocked. I appreciate you guys trying to air out my car, I really do. But half way down? I don't even do that and I actually live in San Diego. Literally crack the window next time because I'm sure others won't be so nice and hold their tongue. And as we did appreciate you guys waiting for us, we did not know you guys were waiting after hours. We had no idea you guys were closing, due to not being informed on the phone when you called us. And I understand you don't purposely do rude things like practically waste my money on something I didn't need and leave my windows half way down. So this will just be a lesson, for me and for you. I came here to get my tire fix before heading to Las Vegas. But unfortunately the shop had already put all of its tools away. However Manuel was still nice enough to take a quick look just to make sure my tire would hold up on my trip to Vegas.
