Today, I reached out to him with a top-line design of a piece I wanted fabricated . Jon answered the phone and was short, unkind and really mean, in fact he was downright rude. He told me to text him my design which I did. About two-hours later I recieved a rude text telling me he was "Passing due to too many details and that the piece would cost $1500". Ironically - $1500 is what I expected to pay. So, he tells me he's passing THEN says it'll cost $1500? Which is it Jon? Neeedless to say, I found another metal fabricator within an hour and the owner was absolutly a joy to talk to. He responded that he loved my design and would be able to fabricate it for about $500.00. So... in all honesty, if you are looking for simple words on a slab of metal and a horrible attitude - Jon may be your guy. If you are looking for someone who is collabrative, kind in execution, positive spirit, thinks out of the box - you might be better served not using tVenice Metal Worxx. Frankly, I have a really bad taste in my mouth and was quite saddened by the experience. I do NOT recommend!

We are doing some big renovations at our house and it is all staring with a custom drip pan for our washer and dryer. We needed it pretty quickly and they turned it around in 24 hours. The communication was outstanding and we checked in with each other to make sure the design/measurements were perfect. And I mean their measurements were EXACT!!! Did I mention that they even delivered the drip pan to us! - We don't live far from the shop, though they told me not to worry and they would bring it to the house - who does that? What shop would do that? - THIS SHOP DID!!! :-) We are going to be working with them to do more in the very near future. I called H Ironworks and spoke with Kevin about fabricating a custom steel cable tension brace to support a shade sail spanning about 35 feet. He and his father came out to my house, listened to what I was trying to accomplish, took measurements, and then went back to the shop to figure out the best way to build it. About a week later they returned for a test fit, and everything lined up perfectly. The following week they brought it back powder coated, and I couldn't have been happier. The workmanship was outstanding--beautiful finish, clean welds, and it looked like it had always belonged there. Just as important, Kevin and Hamlet are genuinely nice people. They're easy to work with, communicate well, show up when they say they will, and clearly take pride in what they do. I would recommend H Ironworks without a second thought. Five stars all the way.
