These guys were great. I needed a railing on a set of outdoor stairs for insurance purposes. The railings were in 3 different areas, as the stairs weren't a straight shot. I didn't want to go overboard on cost. They came out quickly, gave me some ideas to be cost effective, and quoted it right away. It took one week for fabrication, and they installed the next week. We decided we wanted to add a second wrought iron railing to our indoor stairs for additional safety. I went on Yelp, browsed through listings, and picked H Ironworks based on others reviews. I called, left a message, and Kevin soon got back to me. I sent him pictures and what I needed, and he texted back the estimate. It was about what we thought it would cost, so we went with him. He came the following Monday to view it, measure and we gave him a deposit. He thought about a week and said he would call when finished. He called in 4 days and said he could install that day, and came in 20 minutes. The installation was quick, efficient and expertly done, and perfectly matched the other side. They painted, cleaned up( even vacuumed) and gave us the leftover paint. We are very pleased with Kevin and his work and would not hesitate to call him again or recommend to others. I have an older home needing handrails as we have lots of steps. I had a temporary one in place. This week we had a death in the family and many people of all ages were coming to my home after services. It simply was not safe. Kevin answered my request, and was at the house in an hour. Measured, took pictures, and returned at 6:00 am next day of service with beautiful perfect rails. By the time we returned home from church, the cement was dry. All were safe. We initially hired them to restore a 100 years old gate that the previous owners removed and threw in the backyard. The gate was in bad shape, rusty and crumbling. Kevin was great about communication and setting up a time that worked. We had a slight hiccup in scheduling on the day of and they were flexible and able to make it come together. They welded a steel pole as a solar light fixture and it is rock solid. Everything was painted and cleaned up well to finish up. We had an issue with circuit breakers not allowing them to do the job but they showed a lot of patience while we were trying to figure out a solution.
