For dinner I had the fresh fish special which was a fresh, flaky, bid piece of Sea Bass, sautéed with a garlic, red pepper, topping. It was served with perfectly cooked vegetables. The fish portion was huge! I thought for sure I'd be taking home half of it, but before I realized, I had eaten the whole dinner. #2. Had the chicken piccata. My husband was happy with it. It looked like a creamy sauce, almost an Alfredo sauce. #3. Had the Baja Fish tacos & was really pleased. She gets fish tacos everywhere & said these were possibly the best. The meals I've had here are consistently the best I've had in Baja and most places in the states. I know the food is fresh because not everything is always available and there are always new specials with local in-season veggies and meats/fish. From the bluefin sashimi (seasonal) to the bananas foster, the meal never disappoints. My current obsession is the lobster stuffed portobello mushroom and the halibut when it's available. If you order the pasta on the cheese wheel you can get it with chicken, shrimp, or lobster. I've had them all and each is fantastic in it's own way. It's also dinner and a show as it's prepared tableside! Try it! People come from near and far for Javier's cooking and once you try t, you'll see why. My husband had the steak tacos. There was very little steak in the tacos, it was mostly fat and gristle, uneatable! A salad came with my meal. The lettuce in the salad was brown around the edges and the salad was room temperature like it had not been refrigerated. My main meal was delicious, flounder piccata:-) The wait staff set at the back of the restaurant eating their meals. We had to flag them down to get our bill so we could pay and leave. The beer was also at room temperature. Our server said the beer just arrived and had not been in the refrigerator long enough to get cold. We thanked her for being up front with this information.

So I just ordered 4 different hot dogs including the Jumbo (two regular hot dogs in one "bun") and the Sonorense. I can't recall the other two, but 5+ for each. The secret, I believe, is the bread. These 'buns' aren't your Sara Lee regulars nor are they Bolillos. They seem to be excellent toasted thick bakery sliced breads specifically enough for the dog's contents. The sausage/wiener contents vary (cheese-stuffed, regular, double-regular, extra long), and they're dressed only with catsup and mayo. The 10-12 additional toppings (Guacamole Sauce, Salsa, Relish, Onions, etc.) are available "preparado" (by them) or packed in neat packaging to-go. Every Dog we tried was filling and again, Fantastic. $390 Mexican ($18 American). btw, this is one of 3 places recommended to us by locals. Yes, they know where to go for the good eats.

I had the red chili and onions on my enchilada as it took me back to my grandmother's house. Others at the table had the red chili enchiladas flat - also reminiscent of grandma's. Everything was delicious. I wasn't a fan of the beans but i rather eat everything else, you have so many choices. The chili isn't hot as you will notice most restaurants in Mexico don't have hot salsas. But they are very flavorful. Mom loves the bacon cheese fries and wings. We also tried the Mexican shrimp cocktail. I forgot to take a picture before we started eating it, but it was sooo good and had tons of freshness and big shrimp so yummy!
