The quality/talent level is up to par, but the customer service level, organization, and timeliness of this business are lacking. We did not receive the photographer we had requested upon booking. We also did not receive the correct type of photo booth that was discussed upon booking. The photographer that did show up on the wedding day was not utilizing the shot list I had provided/that he had on his phone. It was frustrating to miss out on some of the photos we wanted due to a lack of preparedness. In general, it was difficult to get in touch with questions. I called/emailed several times for a status update after the wedding. I received a long, snappy email with a mathematical breakdown of how busy Daniel is. I was told "I spend X number of hours per week answering emails like yours," If that were true I would have received a response much sooner than I did. A shorter, more polite/professional email would have sufficed. I understand Daniel and the team are busy, but I am a client who is paying for a service, and I don't appreciate the way I was spoken to. It is not my fault that the owner is spread so thin through photographing, editing, and answering calls/emails (as his email to me explained). It is moments like these where truthfully, I don't think Sensational Images was worth the trouble. Upon booking, we discussed that I'd be able to receive family photos back early (for Christmas gifts) and 1-2 photos for Thank You cards. After the wedding, I was told by Daniel in a condescending email that etiquette dictates that cards can be sent up to 6mos after the wedding. While this may be true, I would have preferred to send our Thank You cards out in the same year that our wedding took place. One of the pages in our photo book included the wrong photos with people's faces cropped out. I received no email or notification stating a problem, but I did receive an email saying the book was ready for production. I don't understand how ANY of the photos would not have been high-quality enough. They are professional photos. In the end, I ended up ordering a photo book elsewhere. The book was included with our package/an "added value" item. However, the item was not worth the value, and the hassle was not worth my time. I would not recommend Sensational Images. I feel that given the price, it would be a better experience going with a photographer who might cost a little more, but who treats their clients with professionalism, respect, and with timeliness in mind.

Daniel was perfect for our engagement photos as we had a lot of ideas we wanted to do. He let us try anything and everything with a little direction while still getting the photos he wanted us to take. The photos turned out beautiful. For our wedding photos, Roger was perfect for what we needed. We really didn't have any clue as to wedding photos we wanted. If we did, we couldn't remember them as it was a hectic day! As soon as Roger came into the church he started snapping pictures. His take charge attitude was perfect for the day. Everywhere I looked he was taking photos of something or other. He even crawled around on the floor at the reception to try and get a picture of us dancing in our boots. The ideas and previews he showed us were breathtakingly beautiful. He even stayed extra time that night to make sure he captured everything. He even asked us before he left if there was anything else we wanted pictures of. I can't wait to see our wedding photos!

The one and only picture of us on their fridge is from 2007. So, my husband and I decided that we might as well get pictures taken, so we can give a few to my parents, too. I mean, after awhile, it's like what do you give your parents for Christmas? Ours have everything they need. We decided we should get some for ourselves while we're at it. I contacted McKay Photography, mainly because we have known them for a long time and respect their work. We were able to schedule a time to meet one evening and it was nice enough to take pictures outside. This was a casual session, since we do know them and also because these were not formal pictures being done. And, we had two unruly dogs with us! We couldn't have been more pleased with the results and the price. I asked to have some pictures printed, which they did for us, as well as giving us a CD with all of the pictures on them. I am familiar with McKay Photography's work and prices. They are very reasonable, accommodating, and professional. They mostly do weddings, engagement photos, senior pictures, etc. But they were willing to take the time to do a short session for us, just so we have some new pics for the 'rents. Highly recommend! Side Note: I was unable to upload any pictures to yelp, because it said the file was too big. I will see what I can do.

Value not very good, the prices are quite high, $22 delivery. I was debating ordering from a big online florist but had a very poor experience with them in the past so I chose a local florist. As to service, really lacking. They do not send a delivery confirmation. How dumb! I called to verify the very expensive display had been delivered and the woman that answered was very clipped and borderline rude. I kept starting a sentence and she cut me off repeatedly. She confirmed that they do not send a delivery confirmation, very poor customer service. I'm many hours away from recipient, it would be nice to get a delivery email AND it would avoid having to call Neubauer's and speaking to an employee who is annoyed to (imagine this!) answer a customer's question! Won't order from here again. I do hope she stops answering the phone for other customers, she has zero people skills.

But the thing I want to rave about most is one server. Unfortunately I can't remember her name, but I was having an anaphylactic allergic reaction to some crab I accidentally ate and one of the servers rushed to me with an epi-pen and injected it into my leg, on top of giving me benadryl. My dad was asking everyone if anyone had an epi-pen, and this lady did and after she administered it, she sat with me until the swelling in the throat went down. I just wanted to thank her. The wedding was very nice, they put you up in a tent behind the building and we lucked out with some great weather. They are certainly serviceable and clean, but in dire need of some upgrades. We had dinner the night before the wedding and breakfast the morning after at their buffet that is an incredible let down compared to ordering food from the bar. Lackluster set up, mediocre food, and just a bit of a mess. I'd recommend grabbing a couple drinks on the deck and a bite to eat from the bartenders for the best experience. Open faced steak sandwich is delicious - had it on another occasion.

The grounds are gorgeous and they make sure that everything is running smoothly and people know where they are going. As a drop in location, more like 3 or 3.5 stars. My most recent visit was to take advantage of the igloos. We opted to try the cheese and chocolate fondue which was $25 per person. There was a nice amount of dippers and dip, but the chocolate and cheese were lukewarm. It tasted fine, but they might need to rethink how they warm it for next year. The igloos also weren't all that warm. Thankfully it wasn't a chilly night, but it it was, we would have been pretty cold. Overall, though, we enjoyed our experience. The "buffet" was really sparse for what they charge. $20 and there was soup, salad and three pizza options. Maybe if you get there right when it starts it might be good, but when we checked it out, the pizza had clearly been sitting for awhile and looked dried out. They had fun seasonal cocktails and many flavors of cider and let you sample the cider before making a choice. Service was great. Overall, the ground are gorgeous and the drinks are fun.
