I've been to MeLand a few times before, and every visit had been okay, but this one was incredibly…read moredisappointing. The restrooms were dirty and clearly hadn't been maintained. The newly renovated play area was a complete mess. There was water all over the floors, toys and equipment were scattered everywhere, and my kids ended up with soaking wet socks within minutes. It didn't feel clean or safe, and it definitely wasn't enjoyable for them. To make matters worse, there didn't seem to be any air conditioning, which made the entire place uncomfortable. After we left, I called hoping to speak with a manager. The employee who answered couldn't tell me if a manager was there or even when one would be available. That lack of leadership really showed based on the condition of the facility. The biggest concern was the lack of security. From what I observed, there didn't appear to be any real check in or check out process for children. It seemed like someone could easily walk in or leave with a child without anyone verifying who they were. As a parent, that's extremely concerning. Unfortunately, I can't recommend MeLand after this experience. There are much better indoor playgrounds in the area that are cleaner, better managed, and take safety more seriously. I'd suggest spending your money somewhere else until they make some major improvements.

Honestly, that's bad business practice. You're basically asking people to pay $30 upfront, risking them deciding not to stay--and potentially losing out on a full monthly membership. It's a tiny fee for them, but it's a huge turn-off for anyone genuinely interested. If a business can't trust people enough to offer a real trial experience, I'm not willing to hand over my money. There are plenty of gyms that actually want to earn your membership, not scare it away. No thanks.

If you are looking for a place to take the little ones for some outdoor water fun, this may be your place! This location is a short drive just past ATX to Leander. This Splash Pad was built in 2011 in a former quarry and is surrounded by natural rock, which provides a really unique, pretty atmosphere. There are fountains and sprinklers of all shapes and sizes as well as water cannons, a waterfall, a little slide, a mini climbing wall, a sandbox, and plenty of picnic tables, too. This location offers many foundations that kids can have a blast in. There is ample parking, and the admission is only $2.00! Note* As this location was a quarry, water shoes should be worn by both the littles' and their 'bigs'.

The children at the party had a blast on the ice, but I did have a slight issue with the snowball fight. The "snow" was what was scraped up by the zamboni machine after the public skate. The snow was placed on the backside of the building for the kids to play in, however the snow wasn't roped off in any way so we as the party hosts/guest had to continue to tell others who came outside to play in the snow that this is "paid for snow" and not for public use. The private skating lesson was marked off with cones, and therefore, I assumed the snow would be the same way, but this was not the case. The pizzas for the party were not pizzas made at the location but were pizzas that were ordered from Dominos. For the price point and what was offered, it is on par with other venues that host kids' parties. This trail had some beautiful views and has made it to the top of my favorite trails. This trail was challenging and everything you'd want in a trail. Highly recommend. Beware as you need to come prepared with good energizing snacks and large amounts of water.

We showed up on a Saturday night and I was expecting it to be a lot busier. I assumed it would be crawling with rugrats and ankle biters but my friend and I were it. They had a Saturday night special where it was unlimited play with any type of blaster. There was about 1.5-2 hours left before they closed up and figured we could play a lot of games. Since it was the two of us it was mano y mano while we had a gamesmaster/ref/time keeper there. The space is littered with Darts and with the variety of blasters available you need to be cognizant of what 'caliber' you're using. A family ended of four ended up coming in so despite being outnumbered 2-1 we beat them due to superior tactics, coordinated teamwork and the fact that two of the them hadn't hit puberty yet.
