I found out that after I attempted to make a complaint regarding the dispatchers, the dispatcher department investigated me! The chief apparently was involved too!! The officer that took my information was very patient, professional, and got all of my information. I had all of the transactions with me. It was plain, and a little humorous: he sorta tried to say that these were hard to prosecute and that there were bigger fish to fry. While he was trying to not tell me, I said that I knew that it wouldn't be solved quickly if at all. I told him, I understood "no DNA in a day". He agreed and seemed a little relieved. I don't blame them cuz There are definitely bigger Fish to Fry.

I live in the Brooklands subdivision just off of CR 137 in Hutto, TX. I told the front desk person that the snake was curled up near our back patio and that I needed an officer to come by. An officer was dispatched to my home and confirmed that indeed the snake was a full-grown adult Western Diamondback rattlesnake. I want to commend the officer and his back-up (I didn't get their names) in the manner they handled the situation. Using appropriate snake-handling tools, the officers calmly took control of the 4-foot rattlesnake and killed it. They fixed the problem of the fully-grown venomous snake in our backyard to my satisfaction. (Note: I DO NOT want a large rattlesnake released anywhere near my family ... I want it dead.) Both officers were polite and professional and exhibited a serious focus in doing a task that's not normally associated with police work. The Hutto Police Department is fortunate to have these two men working as police officers. They are an asset to the department and should be recognized for their proficiency and competence.

The officer was entirely unsympathetic to the situation and deliberately prolonged the citation process, which ultimately caused me to miss my appointment. Additionally, the municipal court's system is highly inconvenient; I was advised by a clerk that citations cannot even be viewed for a week due to department delays in uploading paperwork. Experiences like this reflect poorly on the department's commitment to community policing and standard administrative competence.

They all displayed a genuine concern for the public's safety and welfare. This was my first ride-along with the KPD, but in past years have observed the L.A. Sheriff's Department (LASD) on several rides. I have much respect for the LASD, however I'd have to rate the KPD much higher for how they deal with the public.

Then the officer called me back and said he didn't come because the owner of the dog attacked did not call in to file a complaint. Before they got a warrant to enter my home, they came in with me so i could finally pee (they had keot me detained in the sun on my porch) and many of them (not just the two we had agreed upon) followed me into my house (with no warrant yet), and when i said the rest needed to leave bc they had no warrant one of them grabbed my arm and assaulted me in my hallway. So, for calling about a simple verbal argument my bf is now in jail, my house is torn apart, i was in the heat for hours, and i have a sore arm from physical abuse. Ill file a complaint but it wont go anywhere and Ill move away bc we have no rights here!!!! Im also gunna try to sue bc my rights were BLATANTLY violated.
