The service is absolutely ridiculous! I ordered my food at the window & was told to pull around to the next window, which is the normal procedure. I waited 27 minutes for a bbq sandwich & potato chips. Someone el placed an order after me & were behind me. After waiting for 27 minutes, an employee came to the window & asked me if I ordered something, as if I enjoy sitting at drive thru windows with no food. Came here again for a light--um, well, light for barbecue--lunch and opted for the pulled pork sandwich with a side of green beans. Nice, simple--and delicious. The pulled pork, especially with their spicy barbecue sauce, is tender and delicious, and the green beans are flavorful, but not overly porky (as can sometimes happen with green beans in a barbecue place). All told, I would seriously recommend this place if you're in Warner Robins, at a loss for what to do for lunch, and just want some good barbecue. Outstanding. read more

I usually go the location in Perry or Hwy 96 But today I stopped at the one in Flash foods on Russell Very disappointed the chicken salad is usually creamy almost spreadable on crackers. Today it was very stringy. Much like the shredded chicken. Not what I expected but figured it should taste the same. Unfortunately it was very salty. I had to throw the container out. Majority of the reviews are from YT people who lack the taste of flavor! GEORGIA BOBS all locations I've tried in Warner Robins is mediocre at best! The meat lacks seasoning, the prices are insane for the small portions they give you. I expect to pay a good price for BBQ but there's was beyond my understanding as to how it cost so much again for so little. The only item of food that had any flavor and was good to eat was their Brunswick stew! The macaroni taste as if it was just some boxed macaroni you can make in seconds. I've been to Georgia Bob's countless times and I really like it. The food is great and the service is friendly and fast. One of my few complaints is that it is deathly quiet inside to the point of feeling awkward. It would be really nice to have some music playing in the background or something. There is a tired old school tiny TV on the wall but the volume is usually turned down to the point that you can't hear it. Also, they have Pepsi products, ugh. I've just learned not to judge a restaurant by the gas station it's attached to. This has the best BBQ and defiantly gives Sonny's a run for their money. We had the sampler platter and let me tell you the ribs are out of this world. They fall off the bone and the sauces are a pure compliment to the taste. The chicken breast was pepper cooked and juicy. I have never been a fan of pulled pork no matter what style it's served, but they have converted me to loving pulled pork. There is no vinegar overtone of taste with any of their foods. They are going to have two more locations open up in their local area. This is going to be something big I can tell. I guess I missed something about this place? I see so many good reviews, thought we'd check it out. I saw one review that said things were a little dirty but, it was only one out of a few dozen so I looked past it. Got there and the entrance made the place look deserted. Plastic wraps on the arches out front were torn and tattered, with trash littered all around. The food wasn't too expensive, but the drink machine was NASTY. It looked like that thing had never seen soap. I didn't even want to get ice or even touch the handle it looked so dirty. Found a table, also looked like it hadn't been wiped down or cleaned. Got our food and the tray was, guess what, nasty and you could see food and dried up spilled drink on it. Finally got around to trying the food and it was so bland! I didn't know you could mess up pulled pork so badly, hardly any taste at all. My husband got the chicken salad and it made him sick. He's been nauseated for the last 2 hours. He only ate a few bites of it too, he said each bite tasted worse. He also got a side of Mac and cheese that didn't taste good either, box kraft Mac and cheese is better. It had been a few years since I last tried Georgia Bob's. I would always order their rib plate and the ribs would always be flavorful, meaty, and smoky. However, this time it SUCKED!! The ribs were flavorless, dry, and small portioned. They gave me an end piece, so half of the ribs were hard and inedible. Plus it had absolutely NO smoked flavor, but it did have a spoiled flavor like it had been sitting out too long. I'm afraid I might get a stomach ache. It was probably cooked the day before and reheated. I had brunswick stew for the a side. They would give you a hefty portion of brunswick stew in the past, but I was given a small sample size portion that you can eat in one gulp. This place has gone downhill over the years. I would remember driving by this place and seeing (and smelling) the smoked flavor coming out of their pit at the side of the road. Every time I drive by now, there's no activity around their pit area. They probably just cook their meats in a regular oven to save money. They advertise St. Louis style ribs, but I've tried authentic St. Louis ribs before and this is nothing like it. You can probably get better cooked ribs at Wal-Mart. I think I was given riblets instead actual ribs, as the bones were only a couple of inches long and there were tendons everywhere. That's FALSE ADVERTISING!! To make matters worse, their service was lacking. The young lady that took my ordered seemed bored, emotionless, and never smiled. After I got my order, I thanked her but she never said anything back or even looked up at me. While I was eating, a young pretty boy came in to order and she was flirting and laughing it up with him the whole time. She was obviously a spoiled, self-centered brat that had no sense of maturity whatsoever. Most of the customers that go here are locals that probably know the owners by their first names. Bathrooms are filthy no soap no paper. The restaurant is in a gas station. The restaurant does not care to clean the toilets blaming the restrooms are the responsibility of the gas station. Still if that is the case give us access to another clean stocked bathroom. Putting hand sanitizer dispenser all over the lobby are not the same thing. Saying that hand sanitizer is the same as washing hand is trailer trash. Question, if I poop on my hands and just use hand Sanitizer is it clean? No it's not please provide soap. read more

It's been said that the best bbq in WR is located at this place. Where you have to walk through the convenience store of the gas station to get to. I can't really decide one way or another if this place truly deserves that best ever title, but it certainly is a good bbq place and it being in a gas station makes it all the more appealing. Not the best environment, it is located into a flash foods gas station, but get past that and you may find yourself sitting next to the mayor or the base general, everyone goes to this place. I have had the sheer pleasure of eating there at the corner of Houston and Russell many times with my wife in evening and with employee during the day. Always been great. Great place to drive thru and pick up dinner for the family. I've never been inside this location so can't speak to the ambience but it does share space w a gas station so I am imagining its rather simple and casual. Their pulled pork family pack is reasonably priced and usually feeds the 4 of us with leftovers for the next day. LOVE the chicken salad. My husband and daughter love the ribs. Nice folks.
