I took my dog Tucker to the 6 week basic obedience class here. We loved it. I've had Tuck for 2 years and we've worked on a lot of the basics on our own but had never been able to get a good, polite on leash walk. I thought we never would, but decided to try to at least get a better walk (as well as other commands). After six weeks of training (and plenty of homework) Tuck can heel - and so much more. He is calmer with other dogs, and we've improved many of the other skills -stay and come most importantly. But leash walking without pulling my hand off at each deer or cat we passed was my major goal and Cindy took us there. We had such a good experience - I recommend this class to every dog owner, new or long time pet owners, from puppies to adult dogs, you'll get so much out of it! And Tucker is proof that an old(er) dog can learn new tricks (or unlearn those bad habits!). read more

My friend recommended Jennifer Cullari as a trainer for my 1 1/2 year old GSD who was lunging and barking at dogs, humans, trucks, etc. Only my husband could walk him because he was so strong and aggressive when he got worked up. Jennifer took him on for a 3 week board and train program. It was hard leaving him, but she sent pics and videos and text updates along the way. At the end, she spent a couple of hours training my husband and me on how to maintain his newly learned social behaviors. And...that was really the hard part for us. She set the stage, but we had to work to maintain. It was worth it though. We treated her and her instructions like the WORD. Now My dog loves walking in the park, visiting Home Depot and every drive through in Calhoun!!! He doesn't jump or lung at people. At home and around town he heels, sits, down, stays, etc. if he barks, we give the "quiet" command and he stops! He goes to his place when we tell him. Jennifer gave me tips on paying attention to his body signals that hint at anxiety so I can redirect aggressive behaviors before they get started. Before, I had no idea what to do. I just felt helpless and alarmed at my dog's behavior. Now he ignores people around us and we go everywhere together. Jennifer even helped us with his allergies by recommending a raw diet, which has cut out his scratching. As a bonus, his coat is shiny and soft! Jennifer is a no nonsense, get to the point trainer. She doesn't dilly dally or waste time. She's all about the dog. I still text her with updates on My dog and his progress because she really made me feel like she cared about him. First time there, wasn't that impressed. Toys I left hadn't been played with. Girl said when we left "call anytime to check on them" Called on sat and sun and got NO one. didnt care for small pens for 2 large dogs at one time. Have no idea if my dogs got play time or not. Wet quilt they were sleeping on for I don't know how long. Maybe good training facility, but don't know about dog boarding. sheryl H read more

Horrible experience we recently took a class there with one of their instructors if you can call her that, named jennifer Callari. She was extremely rude and obnoxious to me yet she had her little pets in the class. She did not know me at all personally and I did nothing in the class to provoke her bad behavior.Not only that but we found her class to be substandard.and inept. cloaked in an overrated ego of herself.where she would cram way toomuch material in a short period of time. In addition instead of listing this class as needing prerequisits as it should they decide to take your money for the class then expect you to perform the impossible. In particular this class should state that the dog should be off leash obedience trained which takes much longer than their 6 week class moreover obedience in itelf takes much longer muchless trying to add agility into the mix.She is also too short tempered in my opinion to be doing this kind of work. My dog and I were constantly singled out for her ridicule and belitteling, instead if actially coming over to help.It was usually hard understanding her anyways you are in this large gym room where she stands 50 feet away cramming material in in a low voice.She actually did not have the expertise to train my type of dog which insterad of her admitting that fact, she chose to ridicule and humiliate me.By the way i,me, myself trains my dog who has titles, so obviously I know how to train dogs. And most importantly instructors should encourage their dogs and students which unforunately was not done here. read more
