I've never experienced this expert level of care and compassion before. They literally sat on the floor with me while we administered fluids, meds, etc and were completely understanding and lovely to my high anxiety sick boy. They were extremely efficient and quick and made me feel like my dogs health was a priority to all of them. They are very communicative and quick to respond. If I lived within an hour of this place they would be the ONLY vet I would go to. People in this area are so very lucky to have a place like this.

I have been going here for 11 years and called them in an emergency situation about my dog and they couldn't fit me in. They acted like they couldn't care less. That was the final straw for me. They don't send prescription refills into the pharmacy for you anymore and they require you to get your dog a kennel cough vaccine before even making a reservation to board your dog now. This place died when Doctor Bowen left and now is owned by a greedy corporation. Stay away! I have since found another place and will never be going back.

They were beyond patient with us both. Smells great inside and a nice grassy area for walking outside with a shade tree. The shelter offers a coupon for a free initial visit and being a customer service guru, I have seen how some businesses treat special price offer customers. Not a molecule of a difference here from having a free visit or paying a thousand dollars. Super thorough visit. They care about the fur babies and their humans. Very kind and thorough staff.

I continued to bring my pets there to keep up continuity. Dr. Friedrichs was my vet of choice, after Dr. Partin's retirement. Although he didn't have the extra credentials of Dr. Partin, he was great. Unfortunately, the last time I made an appointment for routine wellness check, when I arrived, was seen by a substitute vet. Apparently Dr. Friedrichs was no longer at HFAH. The substitute was friendly and professional and the dog liked her, however I was disappointed. They also have no Saturday hours, which doesn't affect me, as I am retired. I guess it's just what it is, but I finally made the decision to leave HFAH and find a different veterinary practice.
