Really great and pet loving staff. Really well keep/clean and organized. Jess and Alexus go above and beyond for the animals in their care.

I found them on Yelp and when I asked our vet for a boarding recommendation, they mentioned The Pet Resorts. I called to schedule my dog's "vacation." They took down all of my information and sent me an email with everything we agreed upon, including a furminator bath and groom. The staff was professional, friendly, and helpful. They also seemed very knowledgeable. I received an email and phone call reminder of our dog's stay with them. They suggested that I fill out the new customer packet prior to arriving. However, I had printer issues and was not able to. They printed it for me when I arrived and I filled it out in their spacious lobby. It was lengthy and thorough. Their nightly rate of $40 per dog is for their Standard Runs, $52 per dog for their Pet Suites. Add $5 per night per dog during Holiday periods. Half day fee for pickups after 1 PM. Pick-up and drop off anytime during their business hours. When I picked up my fur baby, he looked so good! Probably the best groom he's ever gotten. We were very impressed. They also gave me a report card that accurately described his personality. He was definitely tired when he got home. The Pet Resorts board cats as well. They offer a pet taxi to pick up and drop off your pet for an additional charge. We will continue to use TPR for our dog's future vacations.

You can tell the team loves what they do and loves dogs - Kennesaw is always greeted with a happy hello. I was referred to this business through my mother, who had been referred by the owner's sister. On 9/21, I called to inquire about grooming services after my original appointment with Furry Friends was canceled. During the call, I learned they also offered boarding, so I arranged for both grooming and boarding in mid-October. We had a 20-minute conversation where everything was confirmed, and she provided her personal number for me to send my pet's shot records. On 9/22, I called her again to confirm the grooming price since she had only given me the boarding fee and to ensure she received the shot records. She never returned my call. I followed up with the business on 9/23 and spoke to a man (likely her husband), who said she'd return my call, but she never did. I called again on 10/4, spoke to the same man, who said he would take a message. He called me back a minute later after forgetting my details and ensured she would call me. Still, no one called me back. On 10/8, I decided to stop by the business since phone communication seemed ineffective. The parking lot was empty, except for one truck, and no one appeared to be inside. I called the business number while standing outside, but no one answered. I then called Erika's personal number and left a message, which still hasn't been returned as of today, 10/10. The same man called me back shortly after, took another message, and promised a return call, but it never happened.

She stayed again over the Christmas holiday while we were out of the country and the canine flu made headlines in Georgia. Kate and her team did a phenomenal job keeping all the dogs safe and healthy, as well as keeping their owners up to date on the extra steps being taken, including the mobile vet who was on call. We love Jabula and their entire team of hard working dog lovers. Thank you!!!

What's the old saying, "better late than never?"…read more In 2005 I brought my 1-year old aggressive, non-social, Rottie/GS pup, Ruby, to Kate Jackson and Jabula to get her on the right track. I adopted Ruby from a local rescue when she was 6-months old and it was evident that the first few months before I met her were extremely traumatic. Our "meet and greet" went horribly, as she wouldn't let me close, it took me 15 minutes to get her in the car, and she bit me in return. However, there was something about her and I knew we belonged together. I had a contract job in Hawaii early in 2005 that was going to require me to be there for the better part of a month, and I thought that this would be the perfect time for Ruby to get some formal training since I was going to have make accommodations for her car while I was away. Upon finding out about Jabula's 2-week "all-inclusive" program (or whatever it was called back then), I was ecstatic that not only would she have a place to stay for two weeks with company and activity, but she would get the formal training she needed and deserved. It was going to be hard to leave her behind, but after meeting Kate I felt comfortable leaving Ruby under her care. While in Hawaii, Kate sent me emails and responded to my questions about Ruby's progress. I was excited to hear that she was adapting well and learning how to behave. I couldn't wait to come and see her. Once I got home and was able to pick her up, Kate went over all of the training they did (place, heel, come, etc) in an hour long session with us and the results were remarkable! She was still definitely an Alpha, but she wouldn't instigate any altercation, played well with other dogs, obeyed all commands, and was much, much better around strangers that previously she wouldn't dare go around. Ruby passed in 2015 but she was the best trained pup I've ever had, and Jabula was instrumental in making that happen.

After contacting their on-site management team to inform them that my 3 yr old and 4 month old frenchies had pneumonia and tested positive for coronavirus immediately following their visit to their facility, They tried to blame it on my dogs receiving faulty vaccinations that failed them. No accountability, no suggestion of a refund and a blanket "sometimes that happens when they socialize with other dogs". My dogs are socialized and have been to other facilities! 100% blame on a vaccine that my 3 year old has been receiving from the same vet for 3 years! And he was the sickest out of the 2. For a place that's supposed to care for and love animals I was appalled at their lack of care or concern for mine. It was instant blame on their vaccines. A direct quote from Wag Atlanta "we recommend reaching out to the manufacturer of the Bordetella vaccine Prince and Cassius received to let them know that their vaccine failed. Vaccine manufacturers will often cover the medical expenses on a failed vaccine"! This is absurd !! No Cheyenne they got sick from your establishment. If you want to spend over $500 boarding your fur babies and another $2500 in Vet bills after you pick them up.... Then this is the place for you! Shameful.
