They were friendly, personable, and professional. After waiting for more than an hour to see Doctor Kuang, he on the other hand was the COMPLETE OPPOSITE. He made zero eye contact upon entering the room, was short and showed no interest or concern. He even asked "what brings you here today"? My Sclera (white part of the eye) is completely red and swollen. He prescribed a medication which directly conflicts with my current medication which sharply increases my risk of severe stomach ulcers, gastrointestinal bleeding, kidney damage, and cardiovascular events. I called the office more than six times over 4 weeks to ask Dr. Kuang to call me to discuss my condition and his recommendation for treatment and he NEVER returned my calls. He also never returned the call of another ophthalmologist even after I gave the office staff permission to discuss my condition. It's generally a professional courtesy to return calls of patients and colleagues. I contacted the Corporate Office to discuss my concern and did not receive a follow-up call. If there was an option for less than one star this location would get it from me. Based upon my experiences, I would adamantly not recommend this facility.

Turned out that my situation would require a procedure and the Woolfson Eye Institute could assist with resolving this matter. Dr. Salmonson in the College Park & Stockbridge offices is an extremely knowledgeable individual and he shares his insight in a very friendly manner with the patient. The office staff is great at making people feel welcome here and they act very professional around the patients. They're also great with helping to tackle those insurance policy headaches!! Each of their offices come equipped with a Keurig machine in the waiting area for that quick morning caffeine jolt, and their offices are quite clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend visiting the Woolfson Eye Institute for all of your eye care needs.

Go for your free consult and a week and a half later, you are scheduled for eye surgery. They re-check your eyes multiple times to make sure that they have the correct prescription and everyone in the office is so kind! Dr. Woolfson himself is a nice man who put all of us at ease. The procedure was rather simple and routine! It took no more than 20 minutes with only a small amount of pressure and nothing to scary and I was 20/20. It was so easy, in fact, I couldn't believe that I waited this long to have it done! By bedtime, I could see perfect and the next day, I had legal driving vision- 20/20. No pain or discomfort. I have Federal Davis Vision which I learned after the fact they don't take. By the way, I have been going there w/o issue for several years. Then they wouldn't bill Tricare for some reason, but if they checked, they would have seen that my wife at the time of service, was not on Medicare. I called Tricare and said they should have been billed but weren't, I would have to say this was all due to incompetent billing. Then they were yelling at me, said I didn't know what I was talking about. So that's why I verified everything. My advice, the front office is rude, not capable of taking criticism displaying a know it all attitude. I took my business elsewhere. And I'm not even going to get into the care that was provided last time which was largely indifferent. Btw, I have the same insurances,0n RR Medicare, which according to this office is different. I called them and was assured it was Medicare (as I pay the same Part C A and B premium), but I was rightfully told that the decision to bill is up to the practice. So you would think they would mention this to me, since I was ok with using RR Medicare in the past several years.So if don't want these hassles, all of which truly happened, then don't go there.

I know the asian culture is you need to respect older so I passed on. But after that, when I was asking some questions, once again, instead saying "I'm sorry, can you repeat that?," she said: "I CAN'T UNDERSTAND YOUR ENGLISH! CAN YOU SPEAK IN VIETNAMESE?!" So this is how doctors treat their patients these days? I paid for the service to be treated like this?

It's amazing I can see them but they can't. I have been a patient of Clayton Eye Center for over 33 years. But now that the founder Dr. Smick has retired and the optical department has been outsourced, the service is not like it used to be. They changed the frame supplier and the selection now is overpriced crap. So being banned may just be a good thing. I will still see the doctor for my yearly eye exam but will get my glasses somewhere else. Dr. New took over Dr. Smick's patients when he retired and I really like him.

She explicitly informed me not to report for my appointment on August 12, 2026. She explained that Dr. Ayana Robateau said the appointment had been scheduled in error.I did not attend the appointment solely because the staff instructed me not to come. Therefore, I am not obligated to pay the 40.00 fee. This company is bad when to their errors. There horrible when it comes refunding monies not owed to them.
