Darwin Young greeted us as soon as we walked in, gave us the space we needed to browse and then waited until we were ready to ask questions, and boy did I have a lot of them - we had been shopping spas for some time. Darwin was patient, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, taking the time to slowly explain and answer all of our questions and concerns - no fast talking salesperson here! While our budget was not "top end," he made us feel that we were the only customers in the world. We purchased that day, without hesitation, finding the perfect spa within our budget without feeling as if we sacrificed quality or the experience we would get with our spa. On the ride home, we (well, I) changed our mind regarding the type of cover we wanted. No good... Took my 10k cash and I didn't get my hot tube for 9 months. I was told 2 months. They argue about everything. My hot tube broke three times in 2 years. 2 times was the main circuit board. And now my lights are going crazy. Scared they are going to give someone a sezure bc they flash on their own like a strobe light. Everytime they come out it cost even with a warranty. I may have to take the new hot tube to the dump. Pipes were frozen when the circuit board went out. Nothing I can do about it though is basically what the the employee told me but pay to have it fixed even though I have a warranty read more

Very slick talking totally uninformed sales people...nothing from set up to financing was even close to the way Erwin represented it...avoid him... We do love our hot tub and ultimately the company made things right, but beware of their salespeople. read more

The valet service technician broke my swim spa cover and lift assist mechanism by removing the cover from the spa incorrectly. I had intended to purchase a new cover ( within the next 3 months) but due to this incidence, I had to move that purchase up. I talked with Tim at the Augusta store. I showed him the security film that recorded the damage as it occurred as well as more pictures. I ordered a new cover and was told it would be installed as soon as possible. The installation crew came out the next week, they installed the new Smart cover, but while demonstrating to me how easy it was to lift the cover, I noticed hardware that had fallen in the pool. When I asked Randall about that, he just started yelling at his crew that he had told them to watch out for that and now someone was gonna go swimming to remove the hardware. After they completed the installation, they did not remove the packing material or the old cover from the yard. They simply drove off. I would not recommend GA Spa Company to anyone in the future. Since I bought my pool from them in 2020, the customer service has been on decline. I recommend you look into elsewhere to purchase and maintain your spa until this company raises it's customer service to match the inflated prices it charges for services. read more

Well.....we paid $15,000+ for a hot tub. It's actually awesome we love it! The folks at GA Spa are friendly but the salespeople are not get trained well. It seems no one really has all the answers to products they are selling. Service is another story, those guys that have come out know their stuff and are very friendly. Issue is the wireless controller. Apparently, if you break it the cost is almost $1000. Yeah. Plus, there is no way to change the temperature with out it. You can turn on the lights and the jets but can't change the temp. Now I have a hot tub that can't be used until I pay almost $1000. I think if the salesperson had told us that up front We would have had second thoughts. Other than that it's really nice. read more

I bought a spa from Georgia spa this summer. I must say that the entire experience has been great. Most recently I realized that I had mistakenly signed up for a annual maintenance contract. When I called to inquire every person that I spoke to was very helpful. Even though the situation was probably my fault they refunded my money and treated me with respect and kindness. Just wanted to say I bought into a product I truly believed in. I did my research and almost 6 yrs later my hot tub is still performing like the day I bought it. Many times I have thought about buying a newer and bigger Hot tub, But why. The one I have is perfectly fine. Why would I spend the money To buy a newer Hot Tub when the one I bought yrs ago is still working like the day I bought it. Georgia Spa Company, and specifically my primary point of & sales representative, Chad Shafer were the best! Chad answered all my questions throughout a rather lengthy 'research' process and was able to advise on the 'other logistical' challenges such as slab pour and electrical work that needed to be done in advance... All the while, never pressuring me to 'buy now' or rush the process...i appreciated all the guidance and help with this Hot Tub project...(First time hot tub buyer here!) Once i purchased the spa, and confirmed it was in stock, it took less than 2 weeks to get it delivered... the delivery scheduling team was also very professional and kept to their promised times for delivery and installation. This always causes me to be dubious about the sales process and leaves me more distrusting. The return phone call late on a Friday evening after hours from service because we couldn't figure out the unlock function on the temp control pad, was above and beyond the call of duty! Have had pretty good luck with this company. I will say that the electrician they recommend for your install is flat out dangerous. Use somebody else like TE. GA Spa's recommended guy installed the wrong circuit breakers and created a serious fire hazard in my panel. read more

Great company to purchase a spa from as long as you don't have any problems. I purchased my spa and everything was going great then one day I went out to use the spa and it was not heating. No big deal right, the spa is under warranty? I called into Georgia Spa and they told me yes it was under warranty and they would send someone out in a few days to fix it. But there was a $50 trip charge that would have to be paid before they would come out. In talking to the repairman he told me that this was a common problem with my model spa that the manufacturer was aware of, a defect. He repaired it and so far the Spa is working. So I guess I should have read Georgia Spas fine print more in detail, and be aware, as much as they talk about customer support and standing behind their customers they don't, they will nickel and dime you every chance they can. When you buy something and it under warranty you expect it to be covered. If the manufacturer has a defective part should they not stand behind there product and pay to have it repaired? I am sure they did, its just a way Georgia Spa can make more money! Its not like I can put the spa in the back of my car and take it to the repair center. When I spoke to Georgia Spa they told me that they get this same complaint all the time. Proving my thought that they are more about the bottom line than their customers. Do not let them fool you! If you are looking for a spa I would defiantly be very careful of Georgia Spa what other charges will be coming your way while your spa is under "warranty".
