    Chai sugar cookie latte
    Ellen F.

If you live in Indy, you understand the Tinker Coffee empire. Admittedly, this is my first time in a full Tinker store, where I've normally gone to the airport locations or the stand in the AMP at 16 tech. At midday, there's not a large crowd but still some folks who work inside amongst the expanse of seating available. Thus, my drink came pretty quickly. I came during Eras tour weekend, so I was able to get the specialty Chai Sugar Cookie latte. If memory serves me correctly, this was under $6 for the 16 oz iced latte. Of all the coffees I've had, I would say this was the most accurate to flavor by description. The notes of chai are wonderfully balanced with the sugar cookie. I would even go so far as to start a petition to make this a permanent item. Otherwise, I love the Five Spice Latte. Along with the Chai Sugar Cookie latte, purchases in Eras Tour weekend came with a swiftie friendship bracelet! I would recommend Tinker as *the* coffee shop of our city!

YUMMYYYYY! I felt a bit Experimental/adventurous today so for my morning coffee: I got the Brown Sugar Cinnamon Latte upon recommendation from the barista taking my order. Not the slightest bit of regret! I'm usually one who doesn't like too much spice in my coffee, especially cinnamon because of how overpowering it can be at times. But this was almost perfect! Not too much cinnamon and the brown sugar is just enough to balance the sweetness with spice and complement the bitterness of the brown sugar, cinnamon, and coffee all together. The Egg, sausage & cheese biscuit was scrumptious and the biscuit wasn't overly dry but rather well buttered and soothed by the cheese of the sandwich. Simply yummy! The service was excellent!! The baristas were kind, easy to talk and order with. She immediately complimented my Disney Card as she saw it and that made my day all the more special. I really liked the ambiance for its minimalist design and its unique look with their chairs. The smell of the area was not overwhelming since the day was probably just starting for them but I really liked the soothing smell of spice, coffee, and breakfast- Emphasis on coffee. Overall: beautiful place and great coffee. I'd probably have this place as a study or hangout spot for myself and friends.

Delicious, local coffee that will get your day started right. The staff is knowledgeable, cohesive and friendly. The Market Street location is cozy. Great for working, reading, or taking a caffeinated doom scroll any day of the week.

Wonderful coffee shop. I visited during Taylor swift weekend and this location was packed but the lines moved super quick. A wide variety of food options and great coffees

Solid coffee shop in Indianapolis! I parked at Whole Foods, as there was no free street parking available. Ordered the Honey Vanilla Iced Oat Latte and felt it was well balanced and quality espresso. Staff was friendly and the vibes are great, so happy to see Kickin' the Stigma coffee sleeves!!

Tinker started out off 16th Street on the Westside and to a nice place at the AMP. This newish location is really pretty inside. If you know where Whole Foods and the Cummins buildings are it's in that area that wraps around a corner. I love the deep blues that they used on the walls. They introduced two new drinks the "Dancing Ann" and "On Your Left" paying homage to the Cultural Trail and all its offerings. The change that people round up this month goes to the Cultural Trail. They have a nice pastry selection and delicious looking breakfast sandwiches that I saw being picked up from the counter. Yogurt with granola, and various other pastries and of course pop tarts - the brown sugar one was delicious especially if you warm it up!!! I've always liked the font they used on the cups and the design of the cups it's really cool looking. I'm sure this won't be the last time I visit this Indy coffee gem!!

Matcha latte (oak mylk the only alternative non-dairy).

Cute little spot. Nothing wrong with the coffee, I just prefer a non-pre-sweetened matcha and that was the only option on their menu.

You said no to this face? Big mistake.......huge.

When my partner and I moved downtown, I made a point of getting a cup of coffee and asking if I could stop in while walking my dog to get a to go coffee. I was told that people did it all the time, and I was welcome to bring Maggie in on our morning walks, which I've done now on several occasions. This morning, we stopped in for our latte, and I was told by the snotty kid behind the counter (who I'd never seen before) that they have been explicitly told that dogs aren't allowed. I have really no issue with that policy, if that's the policy, but get your policies together and make sure everyone is on the same page instead of allowing your employees to embarrass and condescend to your customers. The poor employee that told me that Maggie was welcome was standing there and couldn't even look me in the eye. A woman at the counter yelled "tell her she's your emotional support dog!" I simply said, "ok, tell your manager you've lost a customer," and hit it. I got a better coffee at Daisy Bar.

A new coffee shop opened downtown! I got Greg's cookie and Iced Brown Sugar Cinnamon coffee to go! They were both great! This place has some tables with chairs and advertised fast Wi-Fi for those people trying to work at a coffee shop!

Great new place downtown. Tinker has AMAZING coffee and they just opened a downtown coffee shop by Whole Foods and Cummins HQ. It's a nice, clean place. I got an americano and a cookie and both were great. This location is amazing to walk, bike, or take the bus to. Quick walk to the circle, too if you want to grab coffee to go and walk around. I wish there was a bit more indoor seating. And I wish they had a bit more pastry options. However, their coffee is a MUST TRY, so don't let those small areas for improvement turn you away. The staff was friendly and the service was very fast. This is great coffee in an amazing location. Definitely a perfect addition to this part of the city. Come and try Tinker Coffee!

Stopped by early for coffee, of course. Coffee was fine but I had the Honey Vanilla Latte which was outstanding. Perfect blend of flavors without being overly sweet. Did not sample any of the sweet treats but the burnt butter bourbon rice crispy treat sounded intriguing. Just a bit too early for me to launch into that. Maybe next time!

The lattes and breakfast sandwiches at tinker are a go-to for my husband and me. The quality is consistently excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. It's always a treat to stop by for a satisfying meal and a perfectly made coffee!

My aunt and I have made it a point to stop in every-time we're in Indy, and have never been disappointed. I typically stick to their iced chai, which is very refreshing and one of my favorites. The aesthetic is there. I want to be here. But at your price point, the experience needs to match the atmosphere, and lately there have been a few things quietly chipping away at that. First -- the syrup situation. I shouldn't have to order a specific menu latte just to get a flavored drink. A little flexibility goes a long way in making a customer feel like a guest and not just a transaction. Let me build my drink a little. I'll spend more, I promise. And the pastries, baby. I ordered a croissant and watched it get placed in a bag with a thin sheet of paper like it didn't deserve better. By the time I got home, it had made up its mind to be a different pastry entirely. I know there's a microwave back there -- I've seen it working for the breakfast sandwiches. A warm croissant is a small thing that changes everything. I'm not going anywhere. But I need you to know I notice these things -- because I care about what this place could be. Still yours (for now), A regular.

I know Good Vibes Cafe is known for their boba tea and "croffles," so of course I had to try one of each on my first visit! I love all the punny names of the boba drinks, mine was called "Pinky Swear," and another cute one is "Peach, Don't Kill My Vibe!" The Pinky Swear has a strawberry tea base with peach popping boba, and it's exactly what I order when I get boba at Harmony or Kung Fu Tea, so I knew I was going to like it! The "croffle" (a croissant in the waffle iron) is out-of-this-world delicious! It was the perfect balance of flaky and fluffy, and the Biscoff drizzle and fresh whipped cream made it even better. Now this is definitely not something that you can eat every day, but is a great occasional indulgence. On my most recent visit, I mixed it up and tried a coffee drink this time! I got the Biscoff latte, and it was literally perfect. The cup was lined with Biscoff cookie butter, and the rich espresso balanced out the sweetness and made it impossible to stop drinking. The only thing that would make this latte better would be if it came in a bigger size! One of my favorite things about Good Vibes is the half and half cup, where you can pick a drink for each side of the cup! It's a great way to enjoy everything Good Vibes had to offer without being forced to make a decision between two equally delicious drinks, plus it costs the same as a large drink! What's not to love? I also ordered a lemon mint refresher, but they were out of mint so it would just be a lemonade. That was fine and I appreciated how she handled the situation and that she knew what Prufrock did and did not have in stock! She was great at communicating when I walked in that she needed a few minutes and then would be able to help me too. Another time I went with my parents on a late morning Saturday. My mom and I both loved our drinks, but we knew what to order. There were multiple people working behind the counter, but the barista taking orders was not friendly or very helpful on this particular day. My dad did not know what to order and asked what tea is refreshing and is one that the barista would recommend. The barista said that the green tea is really popular, but did not ask whether he wanted it hot or iced or give a recommendation for that. The tea came out hot on a hot day where we planning to walk the Monon and check out other local businesses. To be fair, I did ask him if he wanted me to ask for the drink to be remade or to get him a new one as I had overheard his order and also assumed it would be coming out iced. He said it was fine (but then complained on our walk). This was a bit disappointing. There have been times I have walked out after a few minutes of no acknowledgement from baristas here. It is not a cafe that I would want to sit in and work in as a lot of the space does not look workable. The last time I did come in with papers I planned to read in between appointments, I did not want to put my bag on the floor or my papers on a table because both were dirty. The book page wall has seen better days and would benefit from a revamp. I love the outdoor area though and the can tops are really cool. There is a lot of potential here, but when staff appears like they do not want to be there it makes customers not want to be there either. I would also urge the owners to be more receptive to criticism. The TikTok videos about Prufrock did not influence my review, but it did encourage me to leave my own review based on my own experiences.
