Stopped in for an amazing all white meat fried chicken sandwich!! Also got some key lime pie and Mississippi mud pie for later. Great friendly service. Will definitely be back.

At the time of this review, Georgia's Northside was only open on Fridays at their physical eatery (former Korner Kupboard) serving a limited menu of BBQ meats, BBQ sandwiches, homemade side dishes, and cold drinks from the cooler, cash only. It's order at the counter with open kitchen area and there is no seating inside the shop (yet?) They are open for business, but are in the process of offering local craft beers soon and a printed food menu and open on more days. A few months ago, I got to enjoy Georgia's BBQ across town on the site of Lithermans Limited Brewery on Hall Street, where they would serve some of their food paired up with the craft beers at the brewery on Friday nights. I enjoyed their pulled pork sandwich with Texas caviar with the beer. Fast forward to July and Georgia's Northside Southern Kitchen & Beer Market is now open at their physical location on North State Street, just north of the State Prison for Men. I stopped in at Georgia's Northside for takeout recently on a Friday afternoon. The menu is still evolving and the options were limited to BBQ meats, BBQ sandwiches, homemade side dishes, and, cooler drinks,  more choices than when they did their pop-ups at Litherman's. For BBQ meats, they were offering pulled pork, smoked BBQ chicken, fried chicken, BBQ ribs and wings. For side choices, they offered sweet n' spicy cole slaw, brisket chili, mac& cheese, fried brussel sporuts (tossed in maple mustard), sweet grilled corn on the cob, pickled beets, garden patch pasta salad, herbed potato salad. I ordered the 1 Meat-3 Sides ($17 plus tax) and chose BBQ Ribs, Brisket Chili, Mac & Cheese, and Garden Patch Pasta Salad. The food was all set in under 10 minutes. The BBQ Ribs had a good smoky sweet flavor which were tender & juicy and easily eaten off the bones, extra cup of BBQ sauce packed in the box. The Brisket Chili had soft pieces of brisket, ground beef, beans and spices in a tomato base. The mac & cheese (elbows) was dense and not too rich. The pasta salad had soft elbow pasta mixed with tomato, carrot, green peppers,  roasted corn, & celery with light mayo. Overall, this is very good BBQ, which is definitely a welcome addition for BBQ choices in the Concord area! I will return again when they are fully open serving a full menu of BBQ and Southern dishes and craft beer too!

Foods not bad. On the pricey side for what it is though. The only thing I don't like is the hours are a bit sporadic

I am saddened to learn that they are closing next year, but that just means that I need to eat there more while she is still open! The Mac & Cheese has a great Caribbean spice, certainly a top contender for M&C and the Chicken Curry is equally tasty. I wish that there was a larger dining room, it's quiet, but I expect that plenty of people come in for take-out, since the meals easily make it home without much loss of flavor. I look forward to visiting more in the future and trying out her entire menu.

If you're craving traditional African dishes, this is a solid place to visit. The customer service is decent -- the staff are polite, welcoming, and helpful. You won't experience anything extraordinary, but they are friendly and respectful. The ambiance is simple and more on the casual side. It feels like a low-key, everyday dining spot rather than a place for special occasions or date nights. However, that doesn't take away from the authenticity of the food. Overall, I would recommend Maya's Kitchen for anyone looking for good, authentic African cuisine in a relaxed and casual setting. It's a great choice for takeout or a casual meal when you're in the mood for traditional flavors.

You don't get good cell reception in VT if you have Verizon. I ordered their baby back ribs with fries and cole slaw. I also ordered a Boylan's Diet Cola which comes in a glass bottle. I like how they served it with a slice of lemon. Ribs were excellent! My recommended is not to put the ribs on top of the fries. Some of the fries were soggy as a result of the plating. Cole slaw was tasty and fresh. This business is inside of an old house with a front porch area for outdoor seating. Overall, great quality of food. I would definitely return here again.

When you measure Maple Soul against restaurants in Vermont, it is a three star restaurant. If you measure it against restaurants in New York City it might be closed. If you measure it against restaurants in Rochester Vermont...it's a five stars because it's the only restaurant in the valley. After many visits to Maple Soul I can tell you that you must request the Chef not put in fistful of garlic into any of his recipes. He loves garlic and it stays with you for days, not a few hours. I'm serious absolutely days and days. I tell you this not to hurt The Restaurant, or hurt the Chef!!, but to request that he not do that for any of your dishes. Especially the Caesar salad! A great Chef!! offers you a hint of many flavors. It doesn't quite happen here. He seems to choose one taste and allow it to overpower the entire dish. I can tell you that the ribs are very good, the mac & cheese is very good and the goat cheese salad, delicious although way too big... unless you want to make an entire meal out of your goat cheese and beet salad. It's just too big. The Restaurant could save money. Less is more. I'm always wary of a restaurant that serves TGIF size portions. My chicken marsala could've definitely served 2 people as an example. Possibly a half a box of pasta? Do I recommend you go. Absolutely it's a delightful experience. Just don't expect a five star experience like most of the reviews report. If you've got no other choices, this is a five star restaurant. That's why there are so many five star reviews. Why do we continue to go? Because there are no other choices! So, be willing to drive about an hour to an hour and a half to other restaurants if you are visiting Rochester or the White River Valley if you want an absolutely excellent meal.
