At the time of this review, Georgia's Northside was only open on Fridays at their physical eatery (former Korner Kupboard) serving a limited menu of BBQ meats, BBQ sandwiches, homemade side dishes, and cold drinks from the cooler, cash only. It's order at the counter with open kitchen area and there is no seating inside the shop (yet?) They are open for business, but are in the process of offering local craft beers soon and a printed food menu and open on more days. A few months ago, I got to enjoy Georgia's BBQ across town on the site of Lithermans Limited Brewery on Hall Street, where they would serve some of their food paired up with the craft beers at the brewery on Friday nights. I enjoyed their pulled pork sandwich with Texas caviar with the beer. Fast forward to July and Georgia's Northside Southern Kitchen & Beer Market is now open at their physical location on North State Street, just north of the State Prison for Men. I stopped in at Georgia's Northside for takeout recently on a Friday afternoon. The menu is still evolving and the options were limited to BBQ meats, BBQ sandwiches, homemade side dishes, and, cooler drinks,  more choices than when they did their pop-ups at Litherman's. For BBQ meats, they were offering pulled pork, smoked BBQ chicken, fried chicken, BBQ ribs and wings. For side choices, they offered sweet n' spicy cole slaw, brisket chili, mac& cheese, fried brussel sporuts (tossed in maple mustard), sweet grilled corn on the cob, pickled beets, garden patch pasta salad, herbed potato salad. I ordered the 1 Meat-3 Sides ($17 plus tax) and chose BBQ Ribs, Brisket Chili, Mac & Cheese, and Garden Patch Pasta Salad. The food was all set in under 10 minutes. The BBQ Ribs had a good smoky sweet flavor which were tender & juicy and easily eaten off the bones, extra cup of BBQ sauce packed in the box. The Brisket Chili had soft pieces of brisket, ground beef, beans and spices in a tomato base. The mac & cheese (elbows) was dense and not too rich. The pasta salad had soft elbow pasta mixed with tomato, carrot, green peppers,  roasted corn, & celery with light mayo. Overall, this is very good BBQ, which is definitely a welcome addition for BBQ choices in the Concord area! I will return again when they are fully open serving a full menu of BBQ and Southern dishes and craft beer too! read more

It's been almost 5 months since I've discovered this place. I'm from Worcester MA area and I've been back about 10 times now ... This is something I do not do. I'm honestly starting to think I have a problem because everyone I talk to about Georgia's can't get over the fact that I'm willing to drive 2 hours up and 2 hours back for Lunch! IT'S THAT GOOD! I am Legitimately IN LOVE With This Place! I'm a BBQ review account and only recently I went back and tried his ribs again, but his Specials are like .... I don't feel like I'm worthy of such greatness. He created his "Alan's Boardwalk Burger" since my first review. It's a ground brisket burger (aka INSANELY BETTER THAN REGULAR BURGERS) with some cheddar, applewood bacon, pickles, and his special burger sauce, and that's all it is! But the quality of each and every ingredient I can Taste! and it blows my mind every time! I get one of the specials All the Time now. And the few times I've grabbed a meat and 3 meal with his 3 sides he made for the day ... let me tell you there is NOWHERE ELSE you'll see me go and say "Hmmm ... Kale Salad? SURE!" But that's what I do at Georgia's and I LOVE IT EVERY TIME! Even the "Spicy Cucumbers with Ginger" I LOVE THEM! I'm like a life long Fat Guy who found a place that turns Vegetables into Candy! The Homemade Sweet Tea is still the best sweet tea ever made. His puddings are so damn amazing I'm willing to fight someone for them. His BEER SELECTION is Off the HOOK! This guy really knows how to pick them. Bent Water, Moat, Beek and Skiff, All the Best the North East has to offer that you probably never heard of. Btw, The first time I got ribs here I could tell it wasn't the best batch, definitely the reason why I made a second and third trip. Sometimes you just get that feeling like you know this is just an off day fluke. Second Rib meal was freakin Coca-Cola RIBS! Glazed and Meaty and MMM! Third time was his traditional ribs, SUPER different from the first time. Nice red rib rub with a sweet kick, and with his signature BBQ sauce OMG! Delicious. And just because you can't comment on other reviews: A Doug W. wrote a 3 star review. 1-The cost really isn't that off for great southern food. 2-Portion sizes are definitely NOT Small. 3-Staff is THE BEST! Just check out his Facebook page, tell me the guy isn't the best. And a Margaret C. gave a 3 star review "I enjoyed the slab ribs but to pricey for what you get. For that amount you could through in some slaw/beans and bread" ...... they do, it's called the meat and 3 for a reason, you have to literally refuse more food to Not Get the 3 sides, unless you opted out to get just the meat where the menu item literally says "JUST MEAT". Anyways, Georgia's Northside is undoubtedly my favorite restaurant in New England. I did however give the crown for Best "BBQ" in New England to someone else but I'm pretty sure "BEST Restaurant" in New England screams a bit louder. I wish I hadn't been so hungry when my husband and I stopped in here, but I was. So unfortunately, no pictures. By the time I thought of it it was a bit to late. Walking in, this place smelled AMAZING! It's not a very big place and really their is no seating. I personally hope they add some because by the time my husband was able to pull over and start eating mine was about gone. The guy who took our order was friendly and knowledgable. My husband ordered a pulled pork sandwich and I had the meat and three sides with pulled pork, cornbread, broccoli salad, and potato salad. The cornbread was soooooo good! It had pieces of corn all through it, was moist and sweet without being overly sweet. The pulled pork was tender, smoky, and delicious. The bbq sauce was great, too. The salads were really fresh and were not laden down with to much mayo. As far as improvements go I would live to see more sauces on the menu and some seating. This place serves amazing BBQ, amazing sides, and amazing chocolate pudding. Mainly a take out spot, you can grab beer with your order and go. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Absolutely zero complaints. Can't wait to go back and try one of the sandwiches (I had the ribs, corn, potato salad, and baked beans this time). Yum! I also gave Georgia's 5 stars for providing almost no plastic to the customer. Take away can be really bad for the environment and often contains styrofoam and/or plastic. The only thing we got that wasn't compostable was the small plastic jar of bbq sauce. Maybe the plastic bags can be replaced with paper and the plastic jar with something more environmentally friendly in the future. read more

Georgia's is one of my family's absolutely favorite places to go. Not only is the food amazing ( my mouth is currently watering just thinking about it) but they are amazing to the community too. From fresh ground beef for all burgers to smoked pastrami to the hot chicken sandwich have all been delicious. We have tried so many items and they never disappoint. We've even done the take home meals and what a hit with all who tried it. Now let's get to the meat of this review and when I say meat I mean just that. My personal favorite would be the burnt ends. They are some of the absolute best I've ever had and I have been to some of the Mecca's of BBQ and Georgia's hold their own. As you can tell I cannot recommend this place enough and I didn't even touch on all the local beers they also carry. So do yourself a favor and visit them, you will thank me with a full belly after. read more

Fantastic food! Fantastic service! Having grown up and lived almost 40 years in the south, the food is authentically southern style cooking, which is extremely difficult to find in NH. It's an unexpected and delicious treat! Their fried chicken - amazing! Their Nashville Hot chicken - amazing! Their cornbread - perfect! They have REAL southern style potato salad. But the best thing.... BANANA PUDDING! Not just any banana pudding, but real legitimately southern banana pudding! Could they have any more authentic southern style cooking? Probably not. Georgia's Northside is such a welcome addition to the almost nonexistent authentic BBQ scene in Concord. All the sides are amazing and every single meat I've tried is mouth watering. You can even buy a rack of ribs instead of the meat+3. Trust me, get the rack...you'll be glad you did. The ribs are insanely good. The chocolate pudding? I don't think I've ever tasted REAL chocolate pudding before if this is what it's supposed to taste like. It's sooooooo fresh, chocolatey, and thick. My husband and I have a new addiction and we love their food so much we regularly drive from Hooksett to get it! Food is always delicious and cooked perfectly! My picky kids really like the kids meals which is a small miracle in my family! I probably order once or twice a week in the summer and the specials are always very good. I have tried things I would've never tried elsewhere and never have been disappointed! Portion sizes are fairly large so I usually have two meals in one order. The other thing I like is the staff is top-notch super friendly and always call me by name :-) Personally I prefer the smaller businesses and restaurants because the service is better and the food is always better in my opinion. read more

In town for 1 night and love to try local spots. Found this place and looked good. However, a couple suggestions to the staff. Since everything is take out, maybe have the sandwiches deconstructed, the bottom bun was extremely soggy. The flavors are there but the execution for take out is not. Also, no sauce on the meat, had I known that I would have ordered extra sauce on the side. It comes with a mixed green side salad, which is just that... mixed greens with pickled onions on top. Just FYI, for people that don't like onions(me) or would be good to advertise that. Overall, won't be back and would only recommend if you deconstruct the sandwich and get extra sauce.
