WOW! I haven't realized I never review this place, we are there at least 12 times a year since they opened up! We got a coupon back then at a Fisher Cats game when our son was much younger! We all love this place and as you tell we keep coming back even though I made Mac n Cheese at least once every other week! Which is nothing as great as the Cast Iron Baked classics and new month special flavors they come up with!! Over the years all the staff has been personable, friendly and hard workers!! Which is not something one always sees these days! We know from worked and owned business private business! My usual go to is the Veggie or make your own, I have had some specials over the years and they all were great! My DH usually gets a build your own but this time he ordered the Street Corn version! Inside, out and restrooms are always clean and nicely decorated. And the manager always comes around checking in on everything with everyone! MY BIGGEST TIP IS TO EAT IT INSIDE!! This place turned me into a 1st time yelper! The food was fantastic there were so many good options to choose from. There are very few places where I feel like I could say surprise me and love it. Between me and my family we tried the cheeseburger deluxe mac, brisket mac, jalapeño popper mac, and blazing buffalo mac, lobster pasta salad; all 10/10! I'm not ashamed to admit that my homemade Mac and cheese is garbage. Luckily there is Mr. Mac's. I am obsessed with the Philly Cheesesteak (minus the green peppers). Each time I go there I think, "Let's try something new this time," and often there are some really good sounding specials, but I never seem to be able to deviate. Fortunately my husband is able to branch out once in awhile. Whenever we eat in someone always comes around to check on how things came out, how we're doing, etc. most restaurants these days do that, but here it feels more genuine - like they are genuinely concerned that we are happy with our mac and cheese. We were driving from Boston to Stowe and craving some comfort food! So we found Mr. Mac's, and man, was the food delicious! We tried multiple different dishes, I personally had their chilled lobster macaroni salad, which alone was 5 stars. Notably, they offer gluten free options, and the celiac in our group had no reactions, so we can confidently state that this is a safe option for gluten free/celiacs! We were amazed at the cleanliness of the restaurant, the quick and pleasant staff and OMg the Mac!!! We tried the original with bacon, the pulled pork, and a create your own. Such a simple concept but they do it well - different variations of mac & cheese baked to perfection in a skillet. Everything is made-to-order and you can customize! The chicken parmesan was so delicious! It really had everything. The mixture of marinara sauce with the combination of cheeses was well balanced. Great flavors throughout as the garlic and oregano gives it a little uumph. I also love it when my mac & cheese is topped with bread crumbs. It gives it a little something extra and adds texture. My friend ordered the cheeseburger mac and I thought it was pretty tasty as well. A really great combination of two American classics. Mr. Mac's is really great but obviously not something you'd eat often because it gets pretty heavy but it's something nice to treat yourself to from time to time. read more

Amazing food! We were visiting from the west coast (Nevada) and staying at a Hilton property a few miles away and this was one of the front desk's recommended places to eat.
