We order pizza fries onion rings and a pork gyro. We love greek pizza and this did not disappoint. The fries are crunchy hot and delicious. The gyro was very good just needed a little more tzatziki sauce. I did not like the onion rings to oily. The service was great very welcoming. Its a small place not great if you have a big family. We recieved a flyer/menu in our mailbox today with coupons inside. I love Greek pizza so we ordered a Cheese steak sub, small cheese pizza, tuna salad and jalapeño poppers. Everything was fantastic! Pizza is generic Greek pizza only burnt. All the time. No matter what. Also the buffalo tenders are quite strange. They are in some sort of greasy oil with oregano that has a hint of buffalo flavor. Also they cut up the fingers for some reason? Maybe to make it appear as tho you are getting more food? Good, hearty pizzas and calzones. I had the Grecian pizza. Very fresh, the feta is creamy and salty and the dough is crusty while having the right amount of firmness. The calzone was decent. The wide had a chicken kabob and broccoli version. Again, fresh, warm and hearty. One tip: grilling the kabob would add more complexity to the dish. Excellent marinara though. read more

I would have loved to leave a positive review for this place being that the first time we ordered from there we loved the pizza. However, the second time we ordered, there was a misunderstanding on what was being ordered. We thought we got the regular crust and received the rectangular instead which has a different crust and was not nearly as good. I called and politely asked if there was any way to get a small discount on one pizza that we wanted and I would come and get it. No delivery required. But instead he said no what you order is what you get, which I can understand. But then told me to go somewhere else if I dont like it and that he doesn't care about my business. I never guessed that food could be so terrible. Apparently they can't tell the difference between mozzarella and cheddar. Other food was burned. Delivery was 30 minutes late. After the order, they tried to charge me more. When I contacted them to complain about the food, they told me off. In a quest for a quality chicken pattie for chicken sandwiches, my new hot spot is Christina's Pizza on Lafayette St. They use crispy and moist fillets that have a little bit of spice to them. They also excel at sides, like mozzarella sticks and wings. Maybe it's because I'm a stones throw away, but delivery is always extremely fast. Faster than Dina's, which has lost a star since trying out this good eatery. I highly recommend them. (Now I just have to try their pizza...) read more

Best thing about Christina's, for me, is that it's only a short walk from my house (maybe 5 minutes in good weather). The family that runs this place do a fine job. We first ordered from them on the day we moved in, and I was impressed with the quality of the service. The food is also pretty decent. Another reviewer points out that they use rather pedestrian ingredients, and that may be true, but if you're looking for fresh, homemade and authentically Greek, you really will need to look elsewhere. The pizza is of the Greek (obviously) variety, which is different from what I've been used to in New York and other places, but still quite good - feta is a fine substitute for mozzarella. They make an excellent chicken patty sub, the cheeseburger sub is also pretty damn good, and their steak bombs were my first experience of this particular sandwich - spicy and really good. I agree with other reviewers that the fries are nothing to write home about - standard issue battered fries - but that's not too much of an issue. Christina's is a frequent choice for me and my wife whenever we want something quick and filling. read more

I live right next door and probably eat here once or twice a week. Its great i always get something with buffalo sauce. Will regret moving further down the street at the end of this month. Every time I place my order (buffalo chicken sub with lettuce, bacon, and blue cheese) I am overwhelmed with how much chicken I get, but always savor every bite. I am very sorry to do this. I tried a gyro here and, unfortunately, it did not live up to my great expectations. I was met by considerably better ingredients than what was to be had at Nick's Pizza, but alas Christina's uses much of the same. Here's what I'm talking about: pita, iceberg lettuce, tomato, white onion, lamb strips, sour cream-type sauce. This is what I expect: pita, tzatziki, red onion, tomato, lamb strips. See the difference? Am I asking too much? Perhaps. I do know that in Greece, a gyro is to them what a hamburger is to us, just substitute a pita for the bun. And, if that is the case here then I am very saddened to be jaded by Hoboken, NJ's It's All Greek to Me and the cart vendors in Rockefeller Center. Their pizza is still ridiculously amazing and my friend from Chicago (Libertyville) says it is the best pizza she's had since moving to the area. The wings are interesting looking and come with duck sauce you'd get at a chinese food place, the baklava is delicious, and their fries are so-so. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken Pizza based on some of the other reviews and comments on the buffalo chicken. I expected better based on the reviews here. I picked up my order so that it was fresh out of the oven when I got it. The pizza did not look very appetizing. The chicken is breaded and fried, which adds a lot of grease to the mix. In fact this pizza was a pool of grease. The chicken was diced into fairly small bits and sprinkled over the pizza. The breading was soaked by the grease and had lost all texture. The biggest problem was that the cheese did not even full melt, it was still visible as shreds. What kind of cheese doesn't melt on pizza? It had the appearance of cheap frozen pizza. On top of everything was a generous sprinkling of what looked to be dried pizza herb mix. Despite the appearance I dug in, I was hungry. Unfortunately the taste did not fair much better than the appearance. There was very little buffalo flavor or spiciness. Every time I bit a slice the grease went everywhere. The dried herb mix was out of place on a buffalo chicken pizza. The pizza was only worthy of one star. The second star was for the friendly and efficient service. Christina's is close to my work so I had hoped that it would be a good place to grab lunch but I probably won't return. read more

I try and try and try. I love the mediteranian pizza, they make an ok steak and cheese. But every time I ask for something out of the box they try to rip me off. "This time" I asked if they could make me a LG cheese pizza with 1/2 of it Mediterranean. They said yes but for the price of a whole Mediterranean. I live right down the street from Christina's which is great. I usually order a small cheese pizza because it's delicious and affordable. I actually left my wallet there once and was freaking out because I couldn't find it. I went back to Christina's to see if it was there and low and behold the owner was super-friendly and made sure I knew it was safe with them and nothing had been taken from it.
