And their salads are amazing as well and the friendliness of the and service that you get from the waiting staff is always pleasurable my experiences here have always been on a score of 1 to 10 a 10 I've never had any problems with my orders they're always correct. The food was great. At first glance, the building looks a little abandoned and the parking lot has seen better days, but don't let that fool you. The host/server was very sweet and never rushed us. Pizza was ok but my gosh this place is terrifying when you pull up. It looks abandoned. There are cats living and being fed on the patio. The sign was completely burnt out and faded. I didn't even make it in the front door. This place needs to clean its outside up. It looks like a rundown motel. Park lot is full of trash, pot holes, and over grown plants. Stopped off on way home from Hilton head on Mother's Day. The buffet part was closed. Service was a bit slow and it wasn't crowded at all. We decided to try Georgio's after reading the reviews but unfortunately we were disappointed. The parking lot was full of potholes and concrete blocks. There were several cats hanging out around the door trying to enter with us. The menu isn't as extensive as the photos showed. They no longer carry beer or wine. They no longer had the wonderful looking salad bar pictured in the photos either. I ordered the Greek salad and it was delicious. Everything was fresh with plenty of feta and the dressing was homemade. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and he enjoyed it. It came with a large piece of French bread that was covered in garlic butter. My sister and her husband both had a meat lovers casserole which contained several different types of Italian meats with a red sauce and plenty of cheese. We were pleasantly surprised and glad we didn't let parking lot and cats turn us away. read more

We are spending the night locally and wanted pizza. The outside isn't much to look at, and we would have passed on it, but our hotel recommended it. So glad they did! This place did NOT disappoint! My daughter and I shared a small pizza, hubby had the baked spaghetti. Both were loaded with mozzarella and straight from the oven (too hot to eat!). Buffet was closed, but it was a holiday weekend, so not surprising. Tracy, our server, was super friendly, efficient and attentive. This place is a small restaurant connected to a motel that looks like a movie set from the walking dead. The food was great, with large portions and cooked to perfection. Wait staff was nice and gave us some garlic and cheese breadsticks for free. The only reason this wasn't a 5 star review is the service was slow. It took an hour to get our food. The waitress said this was due to the large amount of people that showed up and they were not prepared for the rush. The pizza was really good but the wait sucked. While being in the area due to Hurricane Florence, we were desperate to find an open restaurant. That's how we found this place. It was a pleasant surprise to find good Italian food in such a rural area. From the outside, Georgio's did not look attractive, but inside, all was OK. Hankering for Italian food, I choose the chicken parmesan over spaghetti, my wife went for the special loaded spaghetti (with sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni). Both dishes were topped with plenty of mozzarella cheese. The interesting feature about both meals is that they were baked, combining the cheese within the spaghetti - very good idea! We both enjoyed our main course. A salad bar was also included with our meal (one trip, small bowl). All salad ingredients were fresh and amply available. Yes to the salad bar, too. Definitely looks run down and sketchy from the outside. But there were plenty of cars on this Friday night so we went in and were immediately seated in a booth. Service was beyond slow. Took 15 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge us. Food took forever to arrive. So why 5 stars? The pizza! OMG. I'm a huge pizza snob. This was a top 5 all-time pie. Plain cheese, what they call their original deep dish. Amazing. We also had lasagna and a kids chicken fingers. Eh, they were ok. Come here for the pizza. Truly a Yelp find off the 95. Normally, I'd drive right past this; no exterior sign, and the hotel that's associated is questionable at best.
