The only thing I would have taken any stars off of was the wait time, but that is not their fault. And definitely worth the wait. They did have barbers working and the line didn't move fairly quickly. It was my first time bringing my four-year-old to a adult Barbershop. We were seen by Geo, the owner. I brought in a picture of what I wanted my son's hair to look like and he did exactly that! He took his time and made my son comfortable by changing the channel to put cartoons on. Horrible service and haircuts. Went to get my hair cut and I explained to them very clear how I wanted my hair cut as well as shown pictures, but in the end my hair was just butchered. I'm never coming back here.... I've waited a whole week to see my barber. Arrving at the shop on a fine Saturday everything's was great. I took my ticket and patently waiting for an hour until I was skipped and another person was sat ahead of me. Out of respect for my barbers time I didn't want him to work later that 4pm. Ohhh my gooodness....this place is great. They do awesome jobs. BUT HOLY CRAP...the amount time it takes for even a simple hair cut was well over an hour and 20 minutes. My boyfriend went in and i dropped him off, came back 45 min later, and still not half way done. It was taking so long on the hair cut he had to hold off on the beard trim. He didn't want to be there any longer. He almost told the guy doing it to hurry up because it was taking sooo long. I understand they do an amazing job, and it takes time....but over an hour for a simple hair cut, not even a beard trim is a little much. Unfortunately after him coming here for a over a year, he no longer has time to put 2-3 hours aside for a hair cut and beard trim . This was his last time going, and he was very frustrated about it. I have been to 5 different barbers trying to get the right beard trim, Liz just knocked it out of the park! Got the shape and length just perfect! The lotions and shave cream were nice and warm and the hot towel was amazing! She shaved up the outline and cleaned it up perfectly! Will most definitely be back! I can honestly say that every time I go to Geo's I am happy with my haircut. This is a far cry from other establishments since others seem to be hit or miss. They take their time and are meticulous with their work; whether it be the hot towel after the hairline shave or their precision with the clippers. The staff is friendly, build rapport with their clients, remember your haircut, and your name. What I found endearing is that it truly is family owned and operated. Geo the owner is on the floor along with other family members such as Jess and Mario (I'm their regular), brothers and sisters or a lifelong family friend. I have been going to Geo when he worked for someone else. So happy that he now has his own business. His attention to detail is exceptional. I ask him to give me a mohawk, and he uses a straight razor, such that the lines on my 'hawk are straight enough you could probably use a laser sight and not find a hair out of place. At 50, having a barber give me a mohawk is unusual... having one who actually makes it look better than when I had one when I was in my 20s... that's exceptional. read more
