Went to the Mayfield Village location for lunch with family, (third location we have visited). It did not disappoint! Started with breaded Artichokes and Ravioli, both great. Ordered two pizzas, the Hot Honey Pepp/Sausage was the Bomb, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza was also phenomenal. Service was quick, efficient, and very polite/accommodating. Took family out to dinner. Geraci's has been around for 60 years but never visited the other 2 locations. The pizza shop is located on the corner of Som Center and Wilson Mills. It does have a few booths but it's more of a take out pizza place or a help yourself to plastic and paper quick bite stop. If I could recommend one thing. Have real silverware and plates as serving dine in on take out cartons was a bad vibe. But it gets so much better. Read on!! We ordered a large sausage pizza, Geraci's salad bowl, stuffed peppers, a meatball sub, and 3 bottles cokes! Food came at a reasonable time. The family are very nice people. Once the food came we got right down to business. First, stuffed peppers were good. Not great but good. Rather high in price as well. Next was the salad. The salad was fresh greens and Italian meats of high quality. Dressing was good Italian red wine vinegar and seasonings. Pizza was AMAZING. There was literally a 1/4" layer of sausage over my entire pizza!! The sauce was homemade quality and real Italian recipe. The cheese was a mixture of provolone and mozzarella and laid on thick. The crust was very good and crispy. Next time I'll order it extra crispy. The meatball sub was AMAZING X2. They make their own bread so the bun was crispy and Italian. Overall very satisfied and can't wait to return later this week for a large everything!!! read more

Food and service at this location is terrible. First 2 times, they forgot to put my order in. The taste and quality of the pizza is has gone downhill. I've eaten Geracis pizza for years and have always loved the pepperoni pizza, but the pizza at this location must use a different recipe. The taste is bland and almost salty. I've been going to their restaurant in University Heights since the 70's. Always been exceptional both pizza and pasta. But mostly pizza, like pepperoni and double cheese pizza! It has never changed in my opinion in the 40 plus years that I've been going there. Now they have a Mayfield Village location so I had to try it. It's the same excellent pizza! Very friendly service and easy parking for a quick run in to get your food and out you go. My go to pizza place. Try a pepperoni pizza you won't be disappointed. read more

Greg and his wife Marty greeted us at the door, and checked in on us several times during our meal to make sure everything was great. The employees were all warm, friendly and on task! Grew up eating their pizza and sauce. Since the opening of the other restaurants it seems they have lost a step from the old days. I remember when the pizza sauce had flavor and chunks of tomatoes with extra greasy sausage...,ahhhh the good ol days. I have no clue what has changed over the years but it no the same goodness. I wouldn't recommend if you're familiar with pizzas back in the 80s-90s. read more

OK. I wanted to like it. I know it's been around Cleveland for a long time. But after what I just had, there's no way we're going back. We got 2 small pizzas: a white and a deluxe. What I smelled in the car was not appetizing--it was something burnt. When we got home and opened the boxes, they looked well enough, although a bit burnt, especially on the bottom. The white pizza was tough like cardboard and the cheese had no flavor--it could be that whatever burnt on the bottom overpowered the actual taste of the cheese. The deluxe was also extremely disappointing. I'm guessing that if they had taken my pizza out of the oven when I got there to pick it up, it would have been fine. But I waited another 10 or 15 minutes for them to get it out of the oven. I can't get that burnt smell out of the house (or my nose and mouth). This was not fixable or edible. So as much as I wanted to like it, there will be no more orders from us. read more
