Wanted to try something new and Athens is in a convenient area. Placed an online pick up order. Very simple to navigate their website. When I arrive for pickup, the atmosphere was comfy and warm. But the FOOD. FIRE! So, I ordered a small half pepperoni, half mushroom xtra cheese. The dough isn't out of the world but it plays it role well as a collective slice. The cheese has a nice mild and savory flavor with a good saltiness. The cheese pull was SOO gooey. The acidity in the sauce helps break up the saltiness in the cheese and the flavors are truly in holy matrimony. As far as the toppings, the pepperoni was pepperoni but how they bake the mushrooms is great! They are canned mushrooms but they bake them enough where the mushrooms become a bit crisp. Very yummy. Altogether, each part of the pizza works harmoniously. A great place for decent pizza at a really good price. Will come back for sure read more

Service was great and punctual. Ambience doesn't really matter - choose either delivery or take-out. I ordered a small extra crispy deluxe pizza, hot wings, and cheesy garlic bread. They were all good, but more like a midnight beer run pizza after the bars. I'll definitely go back, but it's not my preferred style on any of the items I chose. I just recently ordered a Stromboli from there off of Uber eats and the portion for so much smaller then it was there was barely any toppings and get this you have to order it the way it comes you can't build your own anymore and to top it all off they didn't even give me no side of sauce what a disappointment I think they did it intentionally because I used the app instead of their delivery drivers I was a loyal customer for years but after this horrible experience I don't think they will be getting anymore of my money if you do order from them good luck and don't expect the sizes and toppings to be like they once were and hopefully they give you sauce to dip your Stromboli in SMH..... I Love Athens!! Orders have all been accurate (which is super rare these days) and delivered earlier than expected. The pizza is delicious, try the bacon . The wings are the best I have had in a long time. Ask for them extra well done-nice and crispy. Cooked perfectly and an even mix of flats and drums. The teriyaki sauce is SO SO good. My boyfriend is literally more picky than a 5 year old and very particular about, well a lot of things. He says these are the best wings ever including the teriyaki sauce so do with that what you will. Good jalepeno poppers, nice and crispy. Easy online ordering system. To top it off the prices are extremely reasonable (yes even for the wings). This has become our new go-to pizza place. read more

I loved that all the meats were legit ingredients, no generic items. I ordered to add pineapple and they forgot it. We decided to try someplace different for a pizza since Angelos has gone a bit downhill lately, so we picked Athens. Ordered a simple sausage and onion. Got back home and opened the box and knew this was not going to be good. It looked overcooked, almost burnt. The pics I see here on yelp dont look anything like our pizza did. I saw no onions and tasted none as well. My girlfriend finally tasted an onion while almost finishing her second slice. The sausage was....I dunno, ground up? What happened to putting real sausages on pizza?? Either the sausage or sauce was way to spicy for our tastes. It shouldnt pain me to eat a pizza. Needless to say this is a one and done for us. They stack the pie with toppings that are literally falling off of the pizza. I could not make up my mind what pizza I wanted so I decided to go with a small Athenian Pizza, and a small Pig Out Pizza. I must say that was a good choice because they were both delicious. The flavor, texture, consistency, amount of toppings... MMMMMMMM! WOOOOOOWWW! Some things to keep in mind for first timers is that they do not have a dine-in option. They only have carry out or delivery. For carry out orders, you can call your order ahead or make it only line, which will save you a lot of time. They have ample parking in front of the restaurant. And be sure to check and double check your order before you leave. I would have gave them 5 stars, but I did not get the fries I ordered and paid for with the pizza. I got a brown paper bag when I picked up my pizzas. I assumed the fries were in the bag. However, it ended up being the cumber sauces for my Athenian Pizza. read more

Tenders - yum - poppers - yum - onion rings/mushrooms -yum . My one & only gripe is the size of the sausage on the pizza. Wish it was bigger pieces. The pizza here is that 70's style pies I grew up on. There are 6 pizza places 1.25 miles near/from my house. Athens wins out. I have not tried the pizza place in the old Uppercrust Pizza spot.
