AVOID THIS PLACE!!! These people are Sketchy and are out to just serve themselves, NOT YOU! I took my vehicle there twice. First time was pretty good, car still had a new vibration when I was on the highway which wasn't there before but was the least of my worries. The second time, was when this business showed its true colors and how little they care about people. Now not only does my car not drive the same I have that bad taste still in my mouth and memory of their lousy customer service etched in my mind forever. My insurance provider lists off a lot of Gerber locations for me to take my vehicle to, this one was closest to me , but not listed. Terrible experience. The staff doesn't listen to an y explanation you may have. My vehicle still has issues, and I fear it will never be the same . All from one visit there. I have taken my vehicle back and mentioned the issues that are still there. They didn't listen, and I had to pay for that service.. Its basically like paying someone to destroy your vehicle. Can I rate them a 6? They are Amazing. The work was excellent - beyond my expectations, the service was courteous, their approach was to recommend solutions in MY interests (not theirs or the insurance company), and they minimized my out-of-pocket expenses! I needed repair to the bumper and one side of the bed of my 12 year old F250 with typical dents/dings of a farm truck. The repair job got complicated when they found too much age-related rust under the truck bed. The extra repair costs wouldn't be covered by insurance. After searching for a replacement bed and not finding anything for a reasonable cost and that wouldn't require repainting (and additional expense), they suggested that I could buy one directly and possibly save money. They even sent me links to possible sources. I found a replacement bed in Georgia and saved about $1500! Once the new bed arrived, it did take longer than expected due to holidays, but they offered me a loaner. They were quite accommodating! When I got the truck back, they had fixed up the existing dings/dents on the 10 yr old replacement bed even better than we had discussed. They put the cap back on right, the whole thing was washed (looks waxed, too!). The bed looks showroom new even though the rest of my truck is 2006! They even cleaned the interior -- not a spec of dust in my dirt-road truck! And they worked with my insurance company to cover almost everything! I will never take a vehicle anywhere else! I was sideswiped and had a huge dent in the driver's side of my car, with the driver's side mirror minimally functional. I took it to Whitney's because I'd had some minor body work done by them in the past and they did a great job. Honestly, Nicole at Whitney's is one of the best service providers I've ever interacted with. She is knowledgeable, personable, forthright and thorough. She did a full walkthrough of the estimate with me before I left my car, updated me daily, and texted me as soon as the repair was done (2 days early!). The repair job was excellent, and my car came back fully detailed. I will absolutely use Whitney's again if I ever need to. read more

I must say 2 things dread in this world are dentists and collision shops. That being said Whitney's West did an amazing job and was very good with communication (almost to good). I brought my car to Whitney's after a recent fender bender. My research on the shop recommended by my insurance company didn't give me any warm fuzzies, so I looked elsewhere. Whitney's examined my car on the spot when I arrived just before closing. I had a written estimate from them by e-mail the next day. My insurance company was happy with the quote and cut me a check on the spot, so we were off to the races. Whitney's was helpful in getting the repair scheduled, helpful in getting me lined up with a rental car, and always pleasant and easy to work with. The repair was done a day sooner than promised, on budget, and it looks *fantastic* Heck, they even gave the car a bath and cleaned the inside, too. This was an excellent experience. This place is the BEST! I have been rear ended twice in 2017 by TEXTING DRIVERS and Whitney's did both repairs. While the repairs were covered by insurance I still felt the price was reasonable and the scheduling, repair and customer service was great. Then last week a women allowed her dog to jump on my car several times causing deep scratches in my drivers side door. Today I had some free time so I stopped in to Whitney's to schedule and appointment to buff the scratches out. They pulled it right in and buffed them out to perfection AND the best part, they didn't even charge me. Now that is customer service at it's BEST! read more

If possible, I would rate them 0/5. The damage was some what covered up from the accident, but the car was returned in worse shape than it originally was. They do less than half *__ssed* jobs. Car was returned with completely different model body panels (clearly different model parts), misaligned parts, and charged me more after the car was returned to me. I paid it because I did not want to deal with their less than friendly staff. (I replaced the panels myself afterwards). If you pay attention to any details, I would not recommend this body shop. read more

I recently went to get my car fixed at Whitney's Collision and didn't have the best experience. Myself being an African American man I didn't feel welcome from the moment I walked in the door. The employee who I first made contact with was extremely short with me, never once greeted me in a professional manner, nor did he ever really acknowledge my presents. When I explained why I brought by vehicle back to be examined he just walked passed me to my car, asked if it was running and got inside the car. When I was waiting for the employee to update me or give me some kind of information on the issue. Instead he started honking at me from inside my car. Then the employee rolled down the window and yelled, "Yo Brother". I was shocked by this unprofessional behavior. What shocked me even more was when he picked up $125.00 I had in the cup holder, waving the cash in the air to get my attention then when I walked over, the employee shook the money at me saying "I don't want this". After I took the money. The employee rolled up the window and drove my car into the back leaving me standing there. Why did he touch the money to begin with? Instead the employee could have said: "excuse me sir, there's some money here in your cup holder, would you mind holding onto it for me while I look at your car?" This would have been a better response than "Yo Brother, I don't want this"...Very unprofessional! I went back inside and waited for an estimated time for when my car would be done and any information on the issue. But no one acknowledged that I was there. Other customers entered and to my surprise they were treated in a very friendly manner. much different than how I'd been treated. It was clear to me then that this employee was exhibiting signs of DISCRIMINATION. Treating people differently based on their skin color is cruel and unthinkable. I understand the demographic location of the shop and that the majority of the customers who do business with this location are mostly the same race. However, this is no excuse to treat someone differently and with such unprofessional behavior displayed so publicly and confidently. I will say that one employee was kind to me when I received my receipt and he did explain what the issue was with my vehicle. However it doesn't take away from the facts of what occurred. When it comes to being professional, customer service, and speaking with people of different ethnicities, I think the staff at Whitney's Collision need to have racial and ethics training and work on their professional behavior. Its 2017, you can't treat people like this anymore regardless of what's going on around the country. I'm sure management has never had a complaint like this before but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened to others. It just means that I am the first to speak up about it. I hope this review is read and thought about by the owners of Whitney's Collision. I have a Bachelors degree, I work in the Security/Law enforcement field, I've traveled all over the United states and have lived in 17 states. Never in my life have I experienced such blatant and open discrimination before. I'm sure the employees working at this location have been there for many years and are great workers. But working hard is only one aspect to any job. Unfortunately this one bad apple warranted this review. If you are a minority I suggest finding another place to bring your business to. read more
