I'm very disappointed with my experience with Gerber Collision. My wife dropped off my daughter's car for a hail damage estimate/repair process, and when we got the vehicle back, a magnetic phone charger that had been mounted to the AC vent was missing. At first, we assumed it had simply been removed during the inspection and set aside somewhere, so we called to ask about it. The representative told us they would check and get back to us. We never received a follow-up call. After waiting, we called again and were told there would be no reason for anyone to remove the charger. We were then told they would need to contact the insurance adjuster to obtain the vehicle photos and see whether the charger was visible in the pictures. What makes this explanation confusing is that Gerber took the photos themselves, so I'm not sure why they didn't already have access to them. That conversation was over a week ago, and we still haven't received any update, response, or resolution. The charger itself isn't the biggest issue. The real concern is the lack of accountability and communication. If a customer reports a missing personal item, the least that should happen is a timely follow-up. Instead, we've been left chasing answers with no response. Thankfully, we ultimately chose not to have Gerber perform the repairs. If personal belongings can go missing without explanation and customer concerns go unanswered, it raises questions about the level of care and integrity customers can expect throughout the repair process. I hope management takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and improves both communication and accountability. read more

Would not recommend. Took my truck in, obviously totaled. They said estimate would be done in 3 days. 4 days go by nothing went by and was told mine was put at the end of the line. They told me someone was coming on Saturday to do it here it is Tuesday and have heard nothing. read more

Took vehicle in here for an estimate based on a friend's recommendation. She took pictures and told me the written bid/estimate would be ready Monday or Tuesday of the following week. I still hadn't received it by Thursday so I called. First time no one answered the phone. Second time they couldn't find any of my pictures/data/information. Receptionist left me on hold well over 5 minutes so she could finish typing something for someone else. Never did locate my data. Seemed very disorganized and lacking in customer service. I will go elsewhere. read more

I took in three vehicles to get repaired from hail damage and I had a great experience! Friendly service, fast repair, got all the cars back clean and sanitary. Poor quality work, no quality control = Lots of stress, waste of your time, and your vehicle to be ruined. If you want to be without your families two car for 5 months and get your cars back in worse condition, take them in to Gerber. Incompetence guaranteed! This is a long story so I will give you the brief run down. Had two vehicles with hail damage. First car into Gerber right away and they completed it within 3 weeks, but it came back with greasy fingerprints all over the headliner and a thick coating of dust all over the seats, floor, etc. Just filthy! It took them 2 months to get someone to clean it. Of course, I had to call the cleaning company, of which the person was extremely rude and said he didn't have time to do this job when Gerber won't pay him. Thanks Gerber for hooking me up with your preferred vendor, who hates you. Meanwhile, it took 2 months to even begin work on my truck. After a few weeks my truck was done. Trash and scrap pieces littered the bed of the truck, which made me really inspect the inside. The back window had broken plastic moulding, and it leaked. And the bed of the truck was removed to fix the hail damage but put back on crooked with HUGE gaps from the cabin of the truck. One side was over 2.5 inches away from the cab, while the other side was 1.5 inches away from the cab. Again I had to get another rental car, and wait a few weeks until they finished it. The manger was helpful, but even admitted that he was not happy with some of his staff and their quality of work. They delivered my truck to me, and come to find out I now have a burn hole in the seat, and a broken plastic hinge off the bed cover which now leaks. I went to Toyota to see how much to replace these and it was almost $700. I called Gerber and the manager was helpful and said he would request a check from his corporate office. A few weeks later I had the check but left to get the truck fixed on my own time. If you want lots of stress, to have your time wasted renting 3 vehicles, and want your EXPENSIVE vehicle to come back with more issues, Gerber is the place for you. read more
