WARNING: BEWARE My…read morefather recently encountered car trouble that required a tow. We were referred to a towing company (Gloss Boss Auto), which promptly arrived and quoted $140 for the tow. Upon arrival, the tow truck driver offered to fix my dad's car, mentioning his own shop and 20+ years of experience. He diagnosed the issue and arranged for the needed part. He promised to have the vehicle repaired by 6 pm the next day. Despite his limited online presence, we trusted him and even followed him to his shop. However, the next day, he delayed the completion time to 7:00-7:30 pm. Then Subsequently, pushed it again further to 8:30 pm or the next morning. Despite these delays, my dad decided to give him one more chance. Unfortunately, he failed to deliver on his promises. By the morning of the third day, he stated it would be done by 12 pm. This prolonged wait left us extremely frustrated. He had held onto the car for 2 1/2 days without making any progress. When questioned about the work progress, he admitted he hadn't even started. This lack of honesty and failure to deliver on his commitments was disappointing. Despite our trust in him, he let us down. We decided to have him tow the vehicle to a nearby car shop (15-20 min commute) Furthermore, he charged an additional $135 to transport the vehicle from his lot to the-new location just 15/20minutes away.
