She answered the phone during my first call with "Hello??" like it was her personal cell phone or something, then was scatterbrained in person when I came for the estimate. I made an appointment for weeks out with the promise of a reminder call. First, the day they said they'd call to confirm the appointment came and went. It was snowy so I gave them a brake. Then, the date of the appointment came and went. NO call, no text, no email, nothing. Then two weeks later she had the audacity to call me acting as if I was the one who forgot. It was a small thing, but there's plenty of auto shops I can go to and I'm not giving my car to one who communicates poorly. I rely on it heavily and I need clear communication and timely updates.

I told Larry that I wanted Manufacture parts on my brakes and when I picked it up the brakes squeaked and I called and Larry said that I said I didn't want manufacture parts because it would be more expensive. told him that I would never say that because the brakes squeak. They used to take care of my mothers car so much so they would pick it up and deliver it when completed. Yep it sounds great, right? In 2016, before heading out on a lot Good Night! Journey from Kansas City to where I now live on the north Oregon coast, I took my Dodge Caravan in to have it all checked out before leaving. I had work done which took many days longer than promised, the day I was to leave, I'm taking off and a couple of miles down the road, it still had the same issues. Two days later and a week late from heading out, with my sister so she can see where I live and show her the amazing sites of traveling through he Badlands, Mount Rushmore and many other wonderful places along with the crazy mountains that we were driving in. I get back to Astoria and not only had to have all the work done again as it was done incorrectly by All Pro, but I found out my brakes were out in the back, completely rusted out and only the very thin front brake pads were working. All Pro said that not only did they fix the problems I was having and costing over $4,000 but also said they checked it all out for being road ready, to travel 2,000 miles and through mountains. This year, April 2018, I took my 1989 Class C Motorhome to All Pro "BIG MISTAKE". First I didn't not pay for any of the work the did on my minivan. I canceled payment. So 2 years later, knowing that they made a HUGE mistake and thinking they won't do it again - I WAS SO WRONG. Paid them $600 for work and then breaking down in North Platte, Nebraska - paid $400 for a tow and have all the work and more as they missed a bunch of stuff. UGH! Found out the engine battery they put in was the wrong size and a no name off brand. Some of the connection wires to the engine battery and the house battery were not even connected. The transmission fluid was "6" quarts low. The Motorhome takes 12, I was lucky the shop discovered this. The power steering fluid was practically empty, the U- Joints were DRY and needed greased. I would have never made it to Oregon through the mountains without them being greased. The Solenoid was DEAD and needed replaced. I'm mean waayyyy to many things. And I paid cash this time, so there is no way to cancel or fight payments. Ok, so at your own risk, NO... DON'T have All Pro on Sterling in Independence, Mo work on any automobile you have. PERIODICALLY

I talked to Paul the week before and he gave me a time that I could come in to have my vehicle assessed. I told Paul that the time conflicted with my class, and he told me that was okay, transportation could be provided.Samantha made sure that I got back and forth from school, just like Paul had assured me. My experience was professional, courteous and comfortable! I've been having a really hard time finding a decent mechanic being that I lack knowledge for vehicles . Paul drove the vehicle around, and even had someone else check behind him for a second opinion. My check engine light has been on for months, even after I took it to Jiffy Lube, in which wanted to do a transmission flush that would have totaled to $80.00. Paul called me and told me that I only needed an oil change that wouldn't even cost half the price of the service Jiffy Lube claimed that I needed. Paul was right because for the first time in awhile, my check engine light is not on! As a matter of fact, I'm just going to be honest, Paul said the oil change was on the house, and that he understands that I am a college student trying to graduate. I was prepared to make another appointment when I could pay him, but he insisted that he took care of the issue so that I could continue my daily commute to campus. It's simple things like this that mean so much to me. I graduate this May, but this journey has not been easy. It seems that everything in my life was trying to stop that from happening, including car problems that have prevented me from attending class several times. The fact that the mechanics took the time to be honest with me about issues, and not adding to it for personal gain, means that Roe Body Shop has strong core values such as integrity and honesty.
